Air Canada offers a family sharing feature. While the program was briefly suspended due to fraud concerns, it has since returned. Up to eight members can join a family sharing group while maintaining their own individual Aeroplan accounts. How to Earn Aeroplan Points<\/span><\/h2>\n
The most straightforward way to earn Aeroplan points is by flying on Air Canada or one of its many partner airlines. You also can increase your Aeroplan point balance in several ways, including:<\/p>\n

Here's where it starts to get a little confusing. If you fly with a partner airline but your ticket is issued by Air Canada (ticket number starting with 014), you\u2019ll earn points based on the cost of your ticket using the rates above. If your flight is ticketed by another airline but credited to Aeroplan, you\u2019ll earn points as a percentage of the miles flown.<\/p>\n
