Most U.S.-based airlines and many other cash-back shopping programs offer ways to earn rewards for your spending. Common tax preparation services and software \u2014 such as H&R Block and TurboTax \u2014 aren't exceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I am poised to use an online shopping portal, I make sure to check <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cashbackmonitor.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Cashback Monitor<\/a> to compare which portal offers the most favorable return on spending. However, per the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/rapidrewardsshopping.southwest.com\/p\/turbo-tax.htm?gmid=5335\" rel=\"noopener\">offer terms and conditions<\/a>, these points do not count towards Companion Pass qualification.<\/li>\n<li>Rakuten offers a way to earn up to 5% back on both TurboTax and TaxAct. If your Rakuten account is set up to earn Amex Membership Rewards instead of cash back (or another rewards method), 5% means 5X <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Membership Rewards points<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/travel\/rove-miles\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Rove Miles<\/a> is one of our favorite new loyalty programs, and the opportunity to earn up to 5.8X Rove Miles per $1 spent shouldn't be overlooked.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Offerings from each online shopping portal change frequently, so be sure to check back regularly to take advantage of what could be limited-time offers for increased airline miles or cash back.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Add_Card-Linked_Offers_for_Extra_Savings\">Add Card-Linked Offers for Extra Savings<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Holders of Amex, Chase, and Citi credit cards should be quite familiar with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/beginners-guide-to-amex-offers\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Amex Offers<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/chase-ultimate-rewards\/beginners-guide-to-chase-offers\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Chase Offers<\/a>, and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/citi-thankyou-rewards\/citi-merchant-offers\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Citi Merchant Offers<\/a>, respectively. Currently, all three sets of cardholders enjoy opportunities to save when they pay for tax preparation services and\/or software this tax season. These are targeted offers, so not everyone will see the same offers on all accounts; additionally, you'll need to add them to your eligible credit card before using them.<\/p>\n<p>Amex offers discount opportunities with the widest array of vendors; TaxAct, TurboTax, and H&R Block all currently have Amex Offers.
