One overlooked way of earning points and miles is by using the ride-hailing service Lyft.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to earning miles, points, or cash back from paying for your ride, you can also double-dip on Lyft rides thanks to partnerships with several loyalty programs. Here's how.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Earning_Hilton_Honors_Points_With_Lyft\">Earning Hilton Honors Points With Lyft<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Lyft and Hilton first introduced their partnership in June of 2019, and you can earn <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/hilton-honors\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Hilton Honors<\/a> points with every ride. However, you'll first need to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/hiltonhonorslyft.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">link your Hilton and Lyft accounts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You'll earn Hilton Honors points on Lyft rides in the U.S. and Canada at a rate of 3X Hilton points for every $1 spent on Lyft Standard, Wait & Save, Priority Pickup, Shared, Green, Extra Comfort, Black, XL, and Black SUV rides.<\/p>\n<p>You can earn Hilton Honors points on a maximum of $10,000 in Lyft rides per calendar year. In recent redemptions, AwardWallet users have <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/point-mile-values\/Hilton\" rel=\"noopener\">averaged 0.62\u00a2 per Hilton Honors point<\/a>. To start, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/alaskalyft.com\/start?locale=en-US\" rel=\"noopener\">link your Alaska and Lyft accounts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you do, you'll earn 3X points per $1 on airport and elevated rides (Extra Comfort, Black, and Black SUV) and 2X points per $1 on everyday rides (Standard, Priority Pickup, and XL). Note that points are earned on the base fare, which doesn't include taxes, fees, and tips.<\/p>\n<p>You will also earn 1 Atmos status point for every $1 spent on Lyft. However, Wait & Save rides are no longer eligible for Atmos Rewards points. Note the more important word in that sentence, though \u2014 scheduled. If you want to earn the most on your airport trips, you'll need to plan.<\/p>\n<p>You can also redeem United miles for Lyft rides, at a redemption rate of about 0.65\u00a2 per United mile, up to $250 per Lyft ride via the Lyft app when booking a ride. This isn't a valuable use of United miles by any stretch, so try to avoid redeeming this way if you're able to.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Earning_Southwest_Airlines_Rapid_Rewards_Points_With_Lyft\">Earning Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Points With Lyft<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Southwest Airlines doesn't have a traditional partnership with Lyft like the airlines (and hotel) above.
