One overlooked way of earning points and miles is by using the ride-hailing service Lyft.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to earning miles, points, or cash back from paying for your ride, you can also double-dip on Lyft rides thanks to partnerships with several loyalty programs. However, you must first <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/hiltonhonorslyft.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">link your Hilton and Lyft accounts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You'll earn Hilton Honors points on Lyft rides in the U.S. and Canada at a rate of 3X Hilton points for every $1 spent on economy, luxury, and extra-seat rides. You'll earn 2X Hilton points for every $1 spent on shared rides.<\/p>\n<p>You can earn Hilton Honors points on a maximum of $10,000 in Lyft rides per calendar year. To start, you will need to first <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/alaskalyft.com\/start?locale=en-US\" rel=\"noopener\">link your Alaska and Lyft accounts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you do, you'll earn 3X points per $1 on airport and elevated rides (Extra comfort, Black, and Black SUV) and 2X points per $1 on everyday rides (standard, XL, and priority pick up). Note that points are earned on the base fare, which doesn't include taxes, fees, and tips.<\/p>\n<p>You will also earn an extra 1,000 Atmos status points for every 3,000 points you earn through Lyft. MileagePlus members can earn miles on Lyft rides at the following rates.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 mile per $1 on Standard, Priority Pickup, and XL rides.<\/li>\n<li>2 miles per $1 on Standard, Priority Pickup, and XL rides with your company business profile.<\/li>\n<li>3 miles per $1 on Extra Comfort, Lyft Black, Black SUV, and on-demand airport rides.<\/li>\n<li>4 miles per $1 on scheduled airport rides.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although 1 mile per $1 on standard rides isn't anything special, the ability to earn 4 miles per $1 on scheduled airport rides is fantastic. Note the more important word in that sentence, though \u2014 scheduled. If you want to earn the most on your airport trips, you'll need to plan in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Sometime in early 2026, you'll also be able to redeem United miles for Lyft rides. While we don't know the redemption rates yet, it's typically not worth redeeming your miles this way.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"What_Is_the_Best_Lyft_Rewards_Partner\">What Is the Best Lyft Rewards Partner?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While it's great to have several different options for earning miles and points through Lyft, the catch is that you can't triple or quadruple dip. You'll have to decide between earning Alaska miles, Bilt Points, Hilton points, or United miles on top of your standard card earnings.<\/p>\n<p>But which should you choose?<\/p>\n<p>First and foremost, you should opt for the currency you'll use the most. But if you use a couple of them, you'll want to do some math, as some offer more value than others.
