For the majority of travelers, the most relevant programs are <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/capital-one-transfer-partners\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Capital One Miles<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/accor-live-limitless\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Accor Live Limitless<\/a>, and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/world-of-hyatt\/\" rel=\"noopener\">World of Hyatt<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This deal won't be for everyone but don't ignore this deal just because you don't plan to travel to (or through) the Middle East. Many uses of Etihad Guest miles don't involve flying in or through the Middle East. (But, if you do, take advantage of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/travel\/airlines\/etihad-layover-hotel\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Etihad stopover program<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Up_to_40_Etihad_Transfer_Bonus_Promotion\">Up to 40% Etihad Transfer Bonus Promotion<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For the month of <strong>March 2025<\/strong>, Etihad is offering up to a 40% bonus when transferring points from several hotel and bank programs. Many of the banks participating in this promotion are located in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>However, some transfer options are relevant for U.S. readers: Capital One, World of Hyatt, and Accor Hotels.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Capital One<\/strong>: Miles transfer to Etihad Guest at a 1:1 ratio. This Etihad Guest transfer bonus bumps the transfer rate as high as 1.4 Etihad miles per 1 Capital One mile transferred. Here's <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/how-to-transfer-capital-one-miles\/\" rel=\"noopener\">how to transfer Capital One miles<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hyatt<\/strong>: World of Hyatt points transfer to Etihad miles at a 2.5 to 1 ratio in multiples of 5,000 points. This transfer bonus gives you a ratio of up to 1.4 Etihad miles per 2.5 Hyatt points transferred.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accor Hotels:<\/strong> Points typically transfer at a rate of 4,000 Rewards points to 2,000 Etihad Guest miles. This time around, Citi and Ramp Rewards aren't included, but Capital One and Hyatt are.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Etihad_Transfer_Bonus_Terms_and_Conditions\">Etihad Transfer Bonus Terms and Conditions<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The transfer can't be reversed once initiated.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you use your Etihad Guest membership number when making the transfer.<\/li>\n<li>Point transfers must be completed before <strong>midnight UTC+4 on March 31, 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Etihad Guest reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the promotion or modify or alter the terms and conditions of such promotion at any time.<\/li>\n<li>Etihad notes: &#8220;Bonus Etihad Guest Tier Miles earned during this promotion will reflect in the member\u2019s Etihad Guest membership account within 15 business days by the end of the campaign period.&#8221; However, we can't find any other mention of Tier Miles being offered through this promotion.<\/li>\n<li>Not valid with any other offer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"How_to_Use_Etihad_Guest_Miles\">How to Use Etihad Guest Miles<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can redeem Etihad Guest miles on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etihad.com\/en-us\/fly-etihad\/our-partners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dozens of Etihad's partners<\/a>. Note that on March 10, 2023, <a href=\"\/airlines\/book-american-flights-etihad-miles\/\">Etihad overhauled its award chart<\/a>. That change killed off most sweet spots, but there's still some niche value to be found.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, you can transfer 5,000 Capital One miles to get 6,000 Etihad Guest miles after the 20% transfer bonus. Image generated using Great Circle Mapper.<\/em><\/enter><\/figure>\n<p>To unlock an even better rate, you'll need to transfer a larger amount of miles into Etihad.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Etihad_Guest_Expiration_Policy\"><strong>Etihad Guest Expiration Policy<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/airlines\/do-etihad-guest-miles-expire\/\">Etihad Guest miles expire<\/a> after 18 months of no qualifying activity for Bronze, Silver, and Gold members.\u00a0Per the Etihad <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etihadguest.com\/en\/our-programme\/faq.html\" rel=\"noopener\">Etihad FAQs page<\/a>, Etihad Guest Bronze, Silver, and Gold members' miles are valid for 18 months plus an additional 18 months with an eligible miles transaction. However, your miles never expire if you are an Etihad Guest Platinum member.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, Etihad Guest members have a variety of ways to extend the validity of their mileage balance. This includes when you earn, spend, buy miles, or transfer points into Etihad Guest.<\/p>\n<p>U.S.-based members can transfer points to Etihad Guest to reset their miles' expiration:<\/p>\n<div
