As such, avoid booking Lufthansa, Swiss, and some other European airlines that add fuel surcharges with KrisFlyer miles. United, TAP Portugal, and LOT Polish Airlines do not add fuel surcharges, so you'll only pay minimal taxes and fees.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the nonstop flight operated by Singapore Airlines from New York to Frankfurt listed above charges just $5.60 in taxes and fees.
