Hyatt's Residence Clubs are timeshare-like properties that usually have family-friendly activities on-site. Availability can be challenging to find as Residence Club owners are\u00a0first\u00a0to pick &#8212; even more so if you're traveling during a peak season (like Breckenridge in the middle of ski season, or Key West in December-February).<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"What_This_Means_for_Gold_Passport_Members\">What This Means for Gold Passport Members<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>These properties are considered to be more similar to timeshares than hotels, so their point values were structured differently than the rules that applied to the rest of the Hyatt properties. Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/viewfromthewing.boardingarea.com\/2016\/09\/01\/hyatt-devalued-redemptions-16-properties-without-notice-heres-happened\/#_ga=1.13847474.42873586.1473266204\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gary over at View From the Wing<\/a>, here is what the Residence Club points structure used to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12,000 points for a Studio<\/li>\n<li>15,000 points for a One Bedroom<\/li>\n<li>23,000 points for a Two Bedroom<\/li>\n<li>30,000 points for a Three Bedroom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It seems\u00a0Hyatt got rid of the Residence Club award structure back in August and grouped these properties with the others on the point redemption chart.
