Not only are you more likely to be upgraded to a better room with Platinum Elite status, but you also can choose a free breakfast<\/a> as a welcome gift at many brands, have free hotel lounge access at most hotels with lounges, and get guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout at most properties.<\/p>\n
