Since Capital One offers bonus miles (like 10x on hotels and rental cars, or 5x on flights) when paying with your card in the portal, you\u2019ll come out ahead by paying with the card, earning the bonus miles, and then using your miles to cover the charge afterward.<\/p>\n<p>And there are other redemption options, but they\u2019re generally not worth it. These include using miles to pay with PayPal or Amazon, redeeming for gift cards, or simply cashing out. Most of these will give you just 0.8\u00a2 per mile, and cashing out drops the value even further to just 0.5\u00a2 per mile.<\/p>\n<p>It's also worth mentioning that <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/do-capital-one-rewards-expire\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Capital One miles don't expire<\/a> as long as your account is open. You can focus on earning and redeeming them at your pleasure without worrying about losing any miles along the way.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Who8217s_Eligible_for_the_Venture_X_Business_Sign-Up_Bonus\">Who's Eligible for the Venture X Business Sign-Up Bonus?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As with all credit card issuers, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/rewards-card-application-rules\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Capital One has a few rules<\/a> you'll need to follow.<\/p>\n<p>First, you can only be approved for one Capital One card every six months.
