All available Avios will expire at the end of the 18th consecutive month for which you have not collected or used Avios.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Finnair has a quirk where the first day of the month counts as the first of the 18-month period:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;If Avios are collected or used on the first day of the month, the month in question is counted as the first of the 18 months.
