Business programs are all the rage these days, offering perks, rewards, and more to organizations that pledge loyalty. Wyndham is the latest brand to try its luck at winning over business travelers, doing so by rolling out the Wyndham Rewards Business program.
Here's what you need to know about the Wyndham Rewards Business program to decide whether it's worth enrolling.
Wyndham Introduces the Wyndham Rewards Business Program
Like the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program itself, the Wyndham Rewards Business program isn't overly flashy. But that doesn't mean it's worth ignoring. The program has enough perks to consider signing up for — especially if the bulk of your business travel is confined to the brand's sprawling network of properties worldwide.
After completing a free application and receiving approval from Wyndham, businesses can enjoy the following perks:
- Save 10% or more on room rates.
- Earn 1 point per dollar spent for your company on qualifying business stays.
- Use Wyndham Rewards points to redeem for free nights or transfer to employees.
- Give a one-year Wyndham Gold membership to three employees annually.
- Streamline booking and billing with WyndhamDirect.
- Access dedicated support channels.
And as an incentive to join, Wyndham is offering 7,500 bonus points to your company after it completes a qualifying stay by June 30, 2024. Based on Wyndham Rewards' award chart, that's enough for a free night at the lowest award tier.

Is it worth enrolling in Wyndham Rewards Business?
If you're looking for a business program to join, you have two options: Wyndham Rewards Business and Hilton for Business. The programs are similar, but each has pros and cons.
While there's no harm in joining both, deciding on a brand of choice should largely depend on which properties you or your business frequent the most. There's not an X factor that makes one business program better than the other. Thus, it's not worth switching loyalty from Hilton to Wyndham just because of Wyndham Rewards Business or vice versa.
Ultimately, it's worth enrolling — perhaps just to bank the 7,500 Wyndham Rewards points — but the benefits your organization will enjoy merely tip the scales to good from fair. The same goes for Hilton for Business.

The answer to the question I just posted is no longer important to me. I filled out their form and received this email, “Hi Jill, We reviewed your application, and unfortunately, your company does not meet the requirements for a Wyndham Business corporate account.”
Hilton and IHG accepted my business application for my sole proprietorship. I would like to know why I did not qualify for Wyndham. I have a Hilton and an IHG business credit card. I wonder if me getting a Wyndham business credit card and then reapplying might work.
I see Wyndham Rewards Business has increased its offer, “Earn 15,000 bonus points when your company joins the Wyndham Rewards Business program and completes a business-qualified stay. Join and book between Oct. 1 – Nov. 30.”
For a “business-qualified stay”, does Wyndham basically take your word for it that you are staying at the hotel on business? The stay doesn’t need to be something like a business conference at that Wyndham, correct?
