Of all the points and miles you can earn, Virgin points are some of the easiest to come by. And today, they're even easier to earn, as Virgin (both Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club) has become Wells Fargo Rewards' seventh transfer partner.

This development is a big deal if you prefer to cash in for flights, cruises, or a variety of other redemption opportunities sponsored by the Virgin Red-affiliated group of companies; building a balance of Virgin points has never been easier.

Here's what you need to know about Wells Fargo's newest transfer partner.

Wells Fargo Adds Virgin as Seventh Transfer Partner

Wells Fargo is a relative newcomer in the world of points and miles. Earlier this year, Wells Fargo Rewards rolled out its first set of six transfer partners. But in that initial rollout, Wells Fargo promised that more was coming. And more is now here.

Starting today, you can transfer Wells Fargo Rewards points to Virgin 1:1, and there's no minimum transfer amount. With Virgin, your points are pooled in one account that you can redeem through Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. So, whether you're looking to take a cruise, a flight across the pond, or something else, you'll have a lot of options.

Now, it's hard to name a bank rewards program that doesn't partner with Virgin or Virgin Red. If you're a few points shy of a redemption, you can take your pick of programs to transfer points from.

How To Earn Wells Fargo Rewards Points

Wells Fargo doesn't have the breadth of point-earning products that you'll find with American Express, Chase, or Capital One. So, if you're looking to earn Wells Fargo Rewards points, you're limited to a couple of card options:
