Philadelphia: Home to the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, some of the best cheesesteaks on the planet, and now, a brand-new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club. Chase’s newest outpost features locally inspired food, a beer garden, a mix of relaxation and entertainment options, and much more.

Ahead of the Chase Sapphire Lounge’s grand opening, AwardWallet got an early look at the space. And we're taking you on a virtual tour so you’ll know what to expect when you stop by.

Chase Sapphire Lounge PHL Hours and Location

The Chase Sapphire Lounge in Philadelphia welcomes eligible cardholders and Priority Pass guests daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm starting February 20, 2025.

You’ll find the lounge between PHL's Terminals D and E. The entryway sits between the Vino Volo restaurant and Dunkin' — just past the security checkpoint.

The lounge is on the third floor, so you'll need to walk through the sliding doors to grab the elevator labeled “Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club” up to Level 3 — or take the stairs behind the elevator if you want to get some extra steps in.

All terminals at Philadelphia International Airport are connected. And there's also a free shuttle bus that runs between the terminals. That means this Chase Sapphire Lounge is accessible no matter which gate your flight departs from.

For those with a Priority Pass Select membership through a non-Chase-issued card, a single complimentary visit per year is allowed across all Chase Sapphire Lounge locations in the U.S. After that, entry costs $75 per visit. However, it's worth noting that Chase cardholders have priority over non-cardholders during times of high demand.

If you have an eligible Chase credit card but haven't activated your complimentary Priority Pass Select membership, you can do so here.

Chase Sapphire Lounge PHL Layout and Amenities

At over 20,000 square feet, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at PHL is among the largest in Chase’s rapidly expanding network. There's a mix of seating, from communal tables to lounge chairs to private workspaces. Nearly all of the seating is first come, first serve.

For those looking to refresh, the wellness area features bookable private rest pods and two shower suites (reservable for 40 — yes, 40 — minutes). Guests can also enjoy rejuvenating (non-invasive) facial treatments from Face Haus and guided digital meditations led by Master Well-Being Educator & Healer Devi Brown.

Families will appreciate the family room and play area, which is designed to keep the ones-in-tow entertained on a layover.

There’s also a single nursing room, which offers ample private space for parents who need it.

One unique feature of Philadelphia's Sapphire Lounge is its game room. Here, you'll find retro arcade machines with over 1,000 loaded games, half a dozen TVs, and more — a great space for gamers and sports fans alike.

And for those who can appreciate Philly's sports history, there's a wall dedicated just to that, too. Unfortunately, as one staff member said, they couldn't get the Lombardi Trophy on loan to show off to everyone who passes by.

However, one of the lounge’s standout features is its beer garden. With elegant tables, classic games, a rotating selection of local craft beers on tap, and a unique-to-here menu (with cheesesteak sliders), it pays tribute to Philadelphia’s deep brewing and rich food history.

A mural by James Burns ties the space together, celebrating the city’s hidden “portals and pathways.”

A Taste of Philly: Dining and Beverage Options at the Chase Sapphire Lounge

An element that can easily make or break a good airport lounge is its food — and the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Philadelphia doesn't disappoint.

The lounge menu brings a taste of Philadelphia to travelers seeking a bite or two pre-flight. To make it happen, Chase partnered with Middle Child Clubhouse, a local favorite known for its creative takes on classic sandwiches, to design a menu that reflects the city’s food culture.

Guests can enjoy cheesesteak sliders (a personal favorite), potato pancakes, and other Philly-inspired plates. But the food on offer depends on which part of the lounge you visit. The selection caters to all types of dietary preferences while keeping the flavors unmistakably local.

For those who need a cup of liquid energy, Elixr Coffee is the source of the lounge's locally roasted brews. Soft drinks are available throughout the day, along with a curated wine list from Parcelle and a full bar serving signature cocktails. There are also plenty of self-serve hydration stations.

But the beer garden is what sets this lounge apart. With a rotating lineup of Philadelphia’s best craft brews, it’s the perfect place to relax before a flight — or toss one back if you're on a tight connection.

Simply put, you won’t go hungry or thirsty at the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Philadelphia.

Final Thoughts

Philadelphia’s newest premium airport lounge has finally arrived, and it’s more than clear that Chase put serious thought into nearly every detail.

If you’re passing through PHL, make time to check it out. While it will undoubtedly be busier than these photos suggest, it’s still a welcome oasis in an airport that otherwise lacks premium amenities.

And there's more on the way from Chase, too. New lounges in Las Vegas (LAS) and Los Angeles (LAX) are in the works, bolstering the issuer's footprint in some of the most frequented U.S. airports, such as Boston (BOS), New York (JFK), and more.

If these are airports you frequent, it’s worth considering how the Sapphire Reserve can help you elevate your airside experience — alongside other aspects of your wallet.
