Capital One and wireless provider T-Mobile announced a new co-branded credit card for T-Mobile customers. The new T-Mobile Visa Card lets customers earn rewards that can be redeemed towards T-Mobile purchases, including their cell phone bill. The card also comes with several additional perks that can help cardholders save on their monthly phone payments and more.
Here's everything we know about the new Capital One T-Mobile Visa card.
Capital One T-Mobile Visa Card Benefits
The Capital One T-Mobile Visa is a no-annual-fee credit card available exclusively to T-Mobile customers. Cardholders can earn T-Mobile Rewards on purchases they make with the card, which they can redeem for a new phone, device, accessory, or towards their T-Mobile phone bill.

With the T-Mobile Visa, cardholders earn 5% back in T-Mobile Rewards on any phone, device, or accessory purchased at T-Mobile and 2% back in T-Mobile Rewards on all other spending. T-Mobile rewards do not expire.
T-Mobile Visa cardholders also get the following perks:
- $5 off per line for up to eight lines, every month, when cardholders with eligible plans use the T-Mobile Visa for AutoPay on their wireless bill.
- Up to 50% off select hotels and up to 45% off select Pay Now rental cars booked through T-Mobile Travel.
- A limited-time 25 cents per gallon (on up to 20 gallons) discount at Shell stations on Tuesdays through Dec. 23.
- No foreign transaction fees.
T-Mobile customers can now apply for the card online through Capital One or T-Mobile or through T-Mobile's T-Life app. You can apply in person at T-Mobile retail locations beginning November 10. There is currently no sign-up bonus or welcome offer for the T-Mobile Visa card.

Bottom Line
While this T-Mobile Visa card is hardly on par with other cash back or travel rewards cards, it can make sense if you're a T-Mobile customer. The T-Mobile Visa card has no annual fee and offers a decent return on your monthly cell phone bill, plus a discount if you use the card for automatic payments. It offers an easy way to rack up rewards you can redeem for future phone costs.
