Save 30% on Alaska Airlines Flights to/from California

- This promotion excludes flights to/from Hawaii and Prudhoe Bay.
- Use discount code SAFETYDANCE when booking (or book via this link) to access the discounted pricing.
- All flights must be operated by Alaska Airlines to qualify.
- Book your flights by March 3, 2021.

With cash prices already incredibly low, an extra 30% discount could potentially provide insane value.
For instance, check out this round-trip itinerary between Burbank (BUR) and Seattle (SEA) in mid-April. Without the discount, this itinerary will set you back $117 round-trip:
That's already a pretty great deal. But with the discount you'll get it for as cheap as $90 round-trip!
Final Thoughts
Alaska's thrown a changeup with this latest promotion, offering incredible savings and value—provided you act quick. It is an interesting idea to make promotions to people in a specific region in order to strengthen some routes, which may be underprivileged.
This is certainly a good promo by Alaska Airlines, I wonder though what is going to happen now that they have joined one world.
Well, for a start, oneworld will have excellent West Coast coverage. 🙂
Wow, what a great offer, wish I’d heard about this one sooner for my CA relatives to use…..still I’m excited about AK joining OneWorld- it will make travel from the East Coast easier to do with AK miles.
Free flight just for the cost of the taxes? Can’t really beat that one!
What has determined the size of the new members?
Not sure. But I’m guessing that Alaska wanted to incentivize action by making it limited to only a certain number of new members.
Is there a full list of the intra-Californian routes of AS?
I haven’t been able to find a full list, but Alaska does share its route map here: https://www.alaskaair.com/route-map/
Why California and why only new accounts. That’s an odd marketing campaign.
Fun promotion, just after I left California. Alaska seems to have these types of discounts much more than other airlines. I’ll need to pay attention for the future if they ever decide to do something honor the residents of California’s neighboring states
… but then you’d have to go to California.
Great deal. Anyone without an account certainly should take advantage of it.
Why the California resident specific promotion, I wonder?
Do they have any tax privileges in CA? The answer may be no but follow the money.
