Chase Travel has evolved and rebranded the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection by introducing The Edit — a program designed to offer luxury lodging experiences for those who carry the bank's premium rewards card — the Chase Sapphire Reserve®.
Here's what you need to know about The Edit.
New Features of The Edit
Chase Travel has rebranded the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection, ushering in a new era of elevated and curated travel offerings tailored to Sapphire Reserve cardholders.
Cardmembers now have plenty of high-end and hand-picked properties to book and redeem Ultimate Rewards points for, which is an exciting development for those in the premium Chase ecosystem.
The Edit also introduces elite benefits for stays booked through the program, including breakfast for two, property credits, room upgrades, welcome amenities, and more. Additionally, reservations booked through The Edit can earn both Ultimate Rewards points (at a rate of 3X) and hotel loyalty points.

That last part is pretty significant. Normally, if you book a hotel stay through a third-party platform like Expedia or Hotels.com, you won't get credit for your stay or earn points in the hotel's rewards program.

How To Access The Edit
When Sapphire Reserve cardholders search for hotels in the Chase Travel Portal, hotels included in The Edit will appear with the program's logo. Alternatively, you can access the collection here. Note that the option is now available to book with Ultimate Rewards at a rate of 1.5 cents per point. It appears that United credit card holders will still have access to the collection through the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection but won't be able to pay with points.

If you click on a hotel, you'll see all of the benefits available to you at the property when booking through The Edit with your Sapphire Reserve.

These rooms at the Pendry Manhattan West show room pricing in cash or Ultimate Rewards.

Final Thoughts
Chase has refreshed the Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection, bringing us The Edit — an editorially focused luxury lodging experience curated with Sapphire Reserve cardholders in mind. The new option for booking with points or cash is great news for those preferring to use Ultimate Rewards as payment while still receiving elite benefits from The Edit. And if you're able to still earn points and stay credits in hotel rewards program, that's truly a great combination.
