Guests staying at participating Choice hotels in the U.S. can enjoy a convenient perk during their stay: Free delivery through Grubhub. While this may not be a benefit everyone will use, it’s still worth knowing about if your travels bring you to a Choice Privileges property and you're in a pinch. Here’s how it works.

How to Get Free Grubhub Delivery at Choice Hotels

Choice Hotels has partnered with Grubhub to offer Grubhub+ perks for hotel guests. This means that guests can avoid the delivery fees on orders of $12 or more (before tax, tip, and fees) when placing an order after scanning the hotel's unique Grubhub QR code.

This offer is valid at participating Mainstay, Clarion Pointe, Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, and Everhome hotels across the U.S., where Grubhub operates.

If you're wondering how to take advantage of this offer, here's what you need to know.

  • Scan the Grubhub QR code provided at the hotel and order through the link.
  • Guests must opt into Grubhub+ (no credit card required), which is free for 30 days.
  • A credit card is required to pay for food and applicable fees, but delivery fees are waived during the 30-day period.

There are no automatic charges or renewals once the free 30-day Grubhub+ trial ends, so this isn't some sort of gimmick to trick you into paying for Grubhub long-term.

Our Take

This is a practical benefit, especially for Choice guests who may arrive after a long day of travel and not feel like leaving the room to get food. While Grubhub isn’t the only option for dining during your stay, it’s nice to have the delivery fees waived if you choose to use it.

It’s worth noting that Amazon Prime members already receive Grubhub+ as part of their membership, so this benefit may not be as useful to these travelers. However, for those without Prime, this benefit can make ordering in a little more appetizing.
