Top-tier Delta and American elites only: Earn up to Mosaic 4 with a status challenge
JetBlue is targeting Delta and American elites — likely as a countermove to American's offer to JetBlue flyers — with a special offer if you match before June 30, 2025. The chart above indicates what statuses will match to Mosaic 2. Once you're approved for a JetBlue status match, your Mosaic status will be valid till December 31, 2025. You can extend it through the following calendar year by earning tiles. If you're new to tiles, they work like this:
- 1 tile for every $100 spent on JetBlue flights (including extras and fees), JetBlue Vacations packages, and Paisly bookings.
- 1 tile for every $1,000 spent on JetBlue's credit cards, which includes the JetBlue Card, JetBlue Plus Card, and JetBlue Business Card.
To extend your status or bump up to Mosaic 4, you'll need to earn the following by December 31, 2025:
- Mosaic 1: 10 tiles.
- Mosaic 2: 25 tiles.
- Mosaic 3: 40 tiles.
- Mosaic 4: 50 tiles
Should you earn those 50 tiles, your Mosaic 4 status will be valid through December 31, 2026. With Mosaic 4 status, flyers will earn the Signature Perks, including six Mint upgrade certificates, the ability to gift Mosaic 1 status to one person through the end of 2026, all Mosaic 1-3 Signature Perks, and four Perk You Pick choices.
The other status matches (not through Delta or American) can extend their match up to Mosaic 3 by hitting the thresholds above within three months of matching. That extended status will also be valid through the end of 2026. With the right strategy — likely through spending on the JetBlue credit cards — you should be able to extend your status fairly easily.
How to Submit a JetBlue Status Match
Filling out an application will take just a few minutes of your time. But first, you'll need to join the TrueBlue program (if you haven't already) and be ready to provide the following screenshots:
- Matches to Mosaic 1 and 2: A screenshot of your frequent flyer program profile showing your full name and proof of status.
- Matches to Mosaic 2 only: A screenshot or photo of your most recent boarding pass or flight confirmation email showing your status.
Once you've compiled those items, open up JetBlue's status match application and work through the steps. It's that simple, and better yet, it's free to apply!
JetBlue's status match terms and conditions indicate that it may take up to four weeks to process your application. Hopefully, it doesn't actually take that long.

JetBlue Mosaic Perks
Over the past few years, JetBlue's TrueBlue program has undergone a lot of change. In its current state, you can earn “tiles” (through flying, credit card spending, outright purchases, and more) that count towards four tiers of Mosaic status.
JetBlue's latest offer only allows you to match the bottom two tiers of the Mosaic hierarchy. However, there's an expedited pathway to earn Mosaic 3 and 4.
Mosaic 1 benefits
As a Mosaic 1 member, you can enjoy the following benefits after completing the JetBlue status match:
- Priority boarding.
- Priority security.
- Check in at the Mosaic airport counter.
- Up to 3 complimentary in-flight beverages (includes beer, wine, and liquor).
- Complimentary same-day flight changes.
- Check two bags for free (for you and up to two companions).
- Select Even More Space seats at check-in.
- 24/7 Mosaic support.
JetBlue will also pre-select your “Perk You Pick.” At Mosaic 1, you'll get the Mint Suite Priority benefit. As a Mosaic member by status match, you won't have access to the full menu of Perks You Pick until you earn higher tiers.

Mosaic 2 benefits
At Mosaic 2, you'll enjoy all of the Mosaic 1 benefits, plus the ability to select Even More Space seats when you book and Mint Suite Priority. And you'll also get a pet fee waiver.
Final Thoughts
Whether you're fed up with elite qualification changes at your current airline or simply want a new set of perks, JetBlue’s status match is worth a look. If you fly the airline enough, the perks of having Mosaic status will truly shine, especially if you book Blue Basic tickets or want to check a couple of bags without paying JetBlue's bag fees.
With no cost to apply and a solid set of perks from day one, the JetBlue status match is well worth considering, especially for Delta and American loyalists who could obtain TrueBlue's highest status level via the status challenge. This is a unique status match opportunity, offering a rare chance to achieve JetBlue Mosaic 4 status — a rare opportunity that doesn't often present itself.
