Celebrity Cruises is giving frequent cruisers a few more reasons to keep sailing with Celebrity.

Starting June 11, 2026, Celebrity will add new benefits at higher point thresholds within its Captain’s Club loyalty program, including additional perks for Elite Plus and Zenith members. The cruise line is also adding two new top-tier status levels: Double Zenith and Triple Zenith.

Here’s what’s changing with Celebrity Captain’s Club and what these updates mean for frequent cruisers.

Briefer on Celebrity Cruises Captain's Club

Celebrity Cruises currently sails 15 ships worldwide, including the new “Edge Class.” Its Captain's Club loyalty program rewards cruisers with points for nights sailed, traveling solo, and if they're in a premium cabin.

Cruisers can now credit their Royal Caribbean Group sister brands — Royal Caribbean and Silversea — to their Captain's Club account, dubbed “Points Choice.” Plus, status holders from all three brands can match their status in a program called “Loyalty Match.”

So with all these new programs offering even more opportunities to earn points and benefits, there is a reason to keep loyal Celebrity cruisers more engaged than ever before.

Celebrity Loyalty Tier Changes

Launching June 11, 2026, Celebrity is adding perks to the existing Elite Plus and Zenith tiers, as well as two new tiers: Double Zenith and Triple Zenith.

Elite Plus changes

Elite Plus is earned after 750 Club Points. The new changes see a “sub-tier” of benefits added at 1,500 Club Points. New perks include:

  • 480 minutes of free Premium Wi-Fi (doubling the benefit for existing Elite Plus members)
  • 20% off specialty dining
  • One complimentary photo from the ship's photographers
  • A surprise in-room amenity on their milestone sailing

At 2,250 points, Elite Plus members will see even more perks. They include:

  • 720 minutes of free Premium Wi-Fi
  • 25% off specialty dining
  • Two complimentary photos from ship photographers
  • Complimentary “Extend Your Stay” experiences on disembarkation day, where available
  • A surprise in-room amenity on their milestone sailing

Given the large gap between Elite Plus and Zenith, these changes make sense. It not only encourages existing Celebrity lovers to keep sailing with Celebrity, but also gives them a reason to credit other Royal Caribbean Group sailings to their Captain's Club account via Points Choice. That's because those sailings would further increase their Captain's Club points balance.

This is in addition to all the other existing Elite Plus perks enjoyed by cruisers, including free laundry, daily complimentary happy hours, complimentary specialty coffees, and more.

Zenith changes

Compared to the changes at Elite Plus, the Zenith tier changes are rather modest. They include:

  • 35% off specialty dining (onboard only)
  • Three complimentary photos from ship photographers
  • A surprise in-room amenity on their milestone sailing

With dining discounted heavily in the app or online before your cruise, the specialty restaurant discount isn't that impressive. Plus, an additional free photo might not impress seasoned cruisers. Finally, the in-room amenity for milestone sailings is a nice add-on, but just a one-time offering.

Double Zenith and Triple Zenith

Celebrity has introduced two new tiers: Double Zenith at 6,000 points and Triple Zenith at 9,000 points.

With Double Zenith, the following benefits will apply:

  • All 3,000-point Zenith milestone perks
  • A complimentary lunch at a specialty dining venue on embarkation day of each sailing
  • A specialty dinner on any day of their milestone sailing
  • Champagne to celebrate their loyalty achievement

A complimentary lunch on embarkation day can be a nice way to start each voyage, but it's disappointing that the specialty dinner is awarded just once when reaching the status.

With Triple Zenith, the following benefits will apply:

  • All 3,000-point Zenith milestone perks
  • Complimentary seven-night Bermuda or Caribbean sailing in a Sky Suite
  • A specialty lunch on any day of every sailing
  • One specialty dinner on any day of their milestone sailing
  • Champagne to celebrate their loyalty achievement

Triple Zenith requires a lot of sailing, but a complimentary cruise in a Sky Suite — which would include Retreat perks — is a solid one. Plus, a specialty lunch on any day of every sailing (I'm assuming only once per cruise) adds more flexibility.

Bottom Line

Overall, these changes are interesting ones, but still require a lot of sailing to take advantage of all the perks. Celebrity is aware that they need to keep cruisers engaged with its program to prevent them from sailing with a competitor.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect is that this announcement is all positive news for Celebrity loyalists since Celebrity is adding benefits without increasing published tier thresholds or removing existing perks. The most useful additions are the extra Premium Wi-Fi minutes at higher Elite Plus thresholds and the specialty dining perks for top-tier members.

That said, this update is unlikely to move the needle for most occasional cruisers. Double Zenith and Triple Zenith require 6,000 and 9,000 Club Points, respectively, putting those benefits far out of reach for all but Celebrity’s most frequent guests. For those cruisers, the new perks are welcome — but many still feel more like recognition benefits than major loyalty-program upgrades.
