Citi has gained a new transfer partner for its ThankYou Points: Leading Hotels of the World and its loyalty program, called Leaders Club. This becomes the first transfer partner for Leading Hotels of the World and adds to the 18 existing Citi ThankYou transfer partners.
Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) is headquartered in New York City, and Leaders Club includes more than 400 hotels in 80 countries. These are unique, luxury properties, and LHW says its portfolio is “comprised entirely of 5-star luxury brands and the largest global collection of 5-star luxury independent hotels.”
LHW's loyalty program is called Leaders Club, and transfers from Citi ThankYou happen at a 1,000:200 ratio.

The full benefits and program details of Leaders Club are available here. Highlights include:
- Earn a pre-arrival upgrade after your first paid stay as a member.
- Receive an additional pre-arrival upgrade in January for each ensuing membership year.
- Earn 1 point for each $1 spent. Redemptions start at 4,000 points.
- Membership benefits include daily continental breakfast for two, complimentary Wi-Fi, upgrade priority at check-in, and priority consideration for early check-in and late checkout benefits, as well as access to members-only discounts and promotions.
After spending $5,000 with LHW properties within a calendar year, you can move up to Leaders Club Sterling, which offers a 5% stay bonus and five pre-arrival upgrades annually.
Along with searching for properties by destination and dates, it's also possible to sort properties by your interests. Filters include family escapes, hotels with villas, female-owned properties, new properties, cold weather destinations, rooftop bars, spas, warm weather destinations, golf destinations, trending locations, and more.
