Heads up, Citi ThankYou® Mastercard® cardholders. In just two months, you'll lose access to one of the top Citi ThankYou transfer partners: JetBlue TrueBlue. Here's what you need to know about this change, including the last date to make a transfer.
Citi ThankYou® Mastercard® Transfers to JetBlue Ending Soon
If you hold a Citi ThankYou® Mastercard®, you will have one fewer transfer partner on September 20, 2026. On that date, cardholders will no longer be able to transfer their Citi ThankYou® Points to JetBlue TrueBlue at a 1:0.7 ratio.
Although nothing yet appears on the Citi transfer partners page, Citi confirmed to AwardWallet that this change is indeed taking place:
“Effective September 20, 2026, JetBlue will no longer be available as a ThankYou Points transfer redemption option for the Citi ThankYou® Mastercard®. However, all other no-annual-fee cards will continue to be able to transfer their ThankYou Points to JetBlue at the current rate.”
Honestly, this appears to be somewhat random. The Citi ThankYou® Mastercard® has been closed to new applicants for a long time. All other Citi cards will continue to offer JetBlue transfers at their current ratio. There doesn't seem to be strong reasoning for removing a transfer partner from just one card that isn't available anymore, but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes.

Other Ways to Earn JetBlue TrueBlue Points
If you happen to have a legacy card and you love transferring your points to JetBlue, you aren't entirely out of luck.
Since this update is only impacting one card, you can transfer your points to JetBlue at a 1:1 ratio if you are a cardholder of the Citi Strata Elite℠ Card (Rates & Fees) or the Citi Strata Premier® Card (Rates & Fees), or transfer at a 1:0.7 ratio if you hold no-annual-fee cards like the Citi Strata℠ Card (Rates & Fees) or Citi Double Cash® Card (Rates & Fees).

Bottom Line
Fortunately, this change likely won't impact very many people. However, if you are a Citi ThankYou® Mastercard®, you only have access to JetBlue TrueBlue transfers through September 20, 2026.
Credit card issuers don't always give a two-month notice when they remove or devalue a transfer partner, so hats off to Citi for plenty of heads-up. Keep in mind that all other Citi cards will continue to transfer to JetBlue at their current ratios, so as long as you hold more than one ThankYou Points-earning card, you won't be affected.
