Transfer Rove Miles to Qantas With a 50% Bonus

Qantas Frequent Flyer is officially Rove's newest transfer partner. And to celebrate the launch, you can enjoy a 50% transfer bonus to Qantas Frequent Flyer through August 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. That means that 1,000 Rove Miles can convert to 1,500 Qantas Points.

Qantas offers a fairly extensive network on its own metal, and thanks to its membership in the Oneworld alliance and its other airline partners, there are limitless ways to use your miles. Qantas uses five different award charts depending on which airline operates the flight.

Jetstar-operated awards start at 5,700 points each way for short-haul routes like Sydney (SYD) to Melbourne (MEL). With the 50% transfer bonus, you'd need to transfer just 3,800 Rove Miles to book this ticket.

If Europe is on your mind, you can book an American-operated flight from the East Coast to Western Europe for just 68,400 Qantas Points in business. Factoring in the transfer bonus, you can transfer just 45,600 Rove Miles to Qantas to book this transatlantic business class flight.

To put that into perspective, American Airlines charges 82,500 AAdvantage miles for this flight, although taxes and fees are lower.

Always dreamed of flying Emirates business class? This transfer bonus might be the best way to do so. The flight between Dubai (DXB) and Athens (ATH) is roughly five hours, and Qantas charges 46,000 points for this award. For a limited time, you could transfer just 30,700 Rove Miles to Qantas to book this Emirates-operated flight.

Meanwhile, Emirates charges 50,000 Skywards miles for a Business Saver award on this route.

A 50% transfer bonus to any airline is a great deal, but when you consider that Qantas offers solid partner award pricing, this bonus can easily help you go anywhere in the world for a fraction of the cost.

How to Transfer Rove Miles to Partners

It’s quick and easy to transfer Rove miles to one of its 20 partners. From the Rove dashboard, scroll down until you see the “Transfer partners” header. You can swipe right to find the program you want or click “See all.” Alternatively, click the person icon at the top of the screen and select “Transfer Miles.”

No matter which route you take, you’ll land on the same screen where you can pick your partner, enter the number of miles you want to transfer, add your loyalty account number, and confirm the transfer.

Each transfer partner page also shows the estimated processing time. That’s especially helpful if you’re moving miles over with the goal of booking something quickly.

Bottom Line

The best time to transfer miles to a partner is when there’s a transfer bonus, as long as you already have a specific use in mind. We generally don’t recommend speculative transfers, since they leave you exposed to no-notice devaluations (which do happen).

Qantas offers a great way to book award redemptions for Oneworld and other partner airlines. The 50% transfer bonus makes prices even sweeter, so make sure to complete your transfer by August 14, 2026.
