Rove Transfer Bonuses: Get 50% More JAL Miles, 40% More Flying Blue Miles, and up to 35% More Qatar Avios

It’s getting hard to ignore the Rove program. Although it only launched in early 2025, it has already introduced several unique promotions that let you earn extra transferable miles through online shopping and travel bookings. And now you have a few more reasons to pay attention: three limited-time transfer bonuses to some of our favorite loyalty programs.

Transfer Rove Miles to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank With a 50% Bonus

To start off October, you can enjoy a 50% transfer bonus to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank through October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. That means that 1,000 Rove Miles can convert to 1,500 JAL miles.

Japan Airlines publishes an award chart for its own flights. Here's the chart for flights between North America and Japan:

This means you can transfer just 18,000 Rove miles to book an economy award or 36,667 Rove miles for a business class award between the U.S. and Japan!

You won't always find availability at these rates, but if you do, it is a phenomenal deal. It's not often you can fly from New York to Tokyo in one of the best business class products in the sky for less than 40,000 miles.

JAL first class is only offered on select routes and is subject to seasonality. If you fly during the low season, you can score a flight for as low as 110,000 miles, or just 73,400 Rove miles. That said — JAL first class award redemptions are notoriously difficult to book. However, you might get lucky.

Transfer Rove Miles to Flying Blue With a 40% Bonus

If you don't have plans to fly JAL, you aren't out of luck. You can transfer Rove miles to Air France/KLM Flying Blue with a 40% bonus through October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. UTC +1. That means that every 1,000 Rove miles you transfer becomes 1,400 Flying Blue miles.

Flying Blue doesn't publish an award chart, so award pricing can be somewhat unpredictable. However, one of our favorite Flying Blue sweet spots is booking Flying Blue Promo Rewards, which are monthly discounts of up to 25% on select routes. You can often score transatlantic flights for just 18,750 Flying Blue miles. During this transfer bonus, you could transfer just 13,400 Rove miles to book these flights.

You can also use your Flying Blue miles to book flights on SkyTeam partners. For example, a one-way Delta flight from Seattle (SEA) to Portland (PDX) can be available for just 5,000 Flying Blue miles, or just 3,600 Rove miles with the 40% transfer bonus. This is especially great considering high cash fares during the holidays.

Transfer Rove Miles to Qatar Airways Privilege Club With up to a 35% Bonus

Finally, you can receive up to a 35% bonus when transferring Rove miles to Qatar Airways Privilege Club through October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. GMT+3. Unlike the other bonuses, this is a tiered promotion:

• Transfer 1,000 to 49,999 Rove Miles: Get 15% bonus Avios
• Transfer 50,000 to 99,999 Rove Miles: Get 25% bonus Avios
• Transfer 100,000+ Rove Miles: Get 35% bonus Avios

That means 100,000 Rove Miles could become 135,000 Qatar Avios. Once again, Qatar doesn't publish an award chart, but it does offer a calculator to estimate the number of Avios required for an award flight. It also recently launched Qatar Privilege Deals, which lets you take up to 25% off select award flights each month. We haven't seen a U.S. destination on sale just yet, but that doesn't mean it won't happen in the future.

Although this transfer bonus is only for Qatar Airways, it essentially allows you to get a bonus on transfers to all seven Avios-earning programs, including British Airways and Iberia. That's because you can move Avios between accounts for free. If you want to book a flight through British Airways, just transfer your Rove miles to Qatar with a bonus, then move those Avios to your British Airways account.

If you can find availability, you can book Qatar business class between New York (JFK) and Doha (DOH) for just 70,000 miles each way. If you were to book a round-trip flight for 140,000 miles, you'd only need to transfer 103,800 Rove miles. Not bad for another one of the best business class products in the sky.

How To Transfer Rove Miles to Partners

It’s quick and easy to transfer Rove miles to one of its 20 partners. From the Rove dashboard, scroll down until you see the “Transfer partners” header. Swipe right to find the program you want, or click “See all.” Alternatively, click the person icon at the top of the screen and select “Transfer Miles.”

No matter which route you take, you’ll land on the same screen where you can pick your partner, enter the number of miles you want to transfer, add your loyalty account number, and confirm the transfer.

Each transfer partner page also shows the estimated processing time. That’s especially helpful if you’re moving miles over with the goal of booking something quickly.

Bottom Line

The best time to transfer miles to a partner is when there’s a transfer bonus, as long as you already have a specific use in mind. We generally don’t recommend speculative transfers, since they leave you exposed to no-notice devaluations (which do happen).

JAL, Flying Blue, and Qatar offer great ways to book award redemptions on their own metal and with Oneworld or SkyTeam partners. The current transfer bonuses make prices even sweeter, so make sure to complete your transfers by October 31, 2026.
