Ready to buy? Click here to purchase Wyndham points with a bonus now.

Wyndham Rewards — the loyalty program of the world's largest hotel group — is offering a promotion to purchase points with up to an 80% bonus, but it's in its final days. This deal is available through July 3, 2026. With the full 80% bonus, you can purchase points for as little as 0.72¢ each.

Beyond the excellent rate, there's another reason to consider this offer. Later this year, Wyndham will expand its award chart from three tiers to four, meaning some hotels will require more points. But until then, you can still book future stays at current redemption rates, so buying points and redeeming them now could help you lock in today's pricing before some awards become more expensive.

With that in mind, let's dive into some examples of when it makes sense to buy Wyndham points.

Buy Wyndham Points Offer Details

  • This promotion will expire at 11:59 p.m. EST on July 3, 2026.
  • You must buy at least 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points to receive any bonus.
  • The maximum number of points a member can purchase is 200,000 points per calendar year — before the bonus (up from 100k).
  • It can take up to 72 hours for purchased points to be posted to your account.
  • Points purchases do not count toward earning Wyndham elite status.
  • All transactions are final and non-refundable.

This buy Wyndham Rewards points promotion doesn't have any tiers. If you're seeing the best offer, you'll get an 80% bonus when buying just 3,000 points. That means you can buy points as follows:

  • 1,000–2,000 points: No bonus (1.3¢ each)
  • 3,000–200,000 points: 80% bonus (0.72¢ each)

Like any buy points offer, there is a chance this one is targeted.

A Note on Buying Points

We don't recommend buying points without a specific plan to use them. For most currencies, you're much better off building your stash for free through credit card earnings and transfer partners.

However, it can make sense to buy points (or miles) when you're tapped out of transferable points and it's cheaper to buy points and redeem them for a stay than to pay the cash rate. Or perhaps you only need a few more points to complete that next great redemption you're eyeing.

Purchasing points can be the quickest, simplest way if you can't transfer points instead. Just make sure you do the math ahead of time to ensure you're receiving a value you're comfortable with.

Redemption Options With Wyndham Rewards

From now until September 15, 2026, Wyndham Rewards offers award nights at three different price points: 7,500, 15,000, and 30,000 points per night. Factoring in the 80% bonus, here's what each award tier would effectively cost before the new four-tier chart takes effect:

Wyndham Award RateCost for Wyndham cardholders
(factoring in cardholder redemption discount)
Cost for non-cardholders
7,500 points
(6,750 for cardholders)
Purchase a total of 7,200 points for $52Purchase a total of 9,000 points for $65
15,000 points
(13,500 for cardholders)
Purchase a total of 14,400 points for $104Purchase a total of 16,200 points for $117
30,000 points
(27,000 for cardholders)
Purchase a total of 27,000 points for $195Purchase a total of 30,600 points for $221

To see if you're getting good value for your Wyndham points, simply compare the cash rate with the price of purchasing enough points.

Let's take a look at some situations where buying Wyndham points could save you money compared to booking a stay with cash.

Book a vacation condo from 7,500 Wyndham points

Back in 2023, AwardWallet broke the news that Wyndham dropped the award price for Wyndham Vacation condo awards as low as 7,500 points. Travelers can stay at dozens of condo-style properties for this incredibly cheap award rate. Options range from a golf resort in Arizona to condos in Williamsburg, Virginia.

For example, you can book an 827-square-foot 1-bedroom condo in Arizona for just 7,500 points:

Even better, Wyndham cardholders get a 10% discount on award nights, dropping the price to just 6,750 per night. At that rate, buying Wyndham points at 0.72¢ each means you'd pay about $49 per night for a stay at one of these properties. That's an incredible rate for a property like this!

Have a heck of a time in Hanoi

Easily my favorite country in the world, Vietnam is something special. The diversity between the north and the south is drastic, but regardless of where you travel, you're going to experience an incredible place.

One outstanding property in the capital of Hanoi is the Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake. With a stunning interior design and loads of amenities, this property is the perfect place to springboard into action to places such as Ha Long Bay — which is one of the most breathtaking pieces of nature you will ever see.

You can book a Golden King Classic in this property for only 15,000 points. With the cash rate hovering above $300 per night, you would be able to grab this fantastic room for around 64% off the cash rate when buying Wyndham Rewards points for just 0.72¢ apiece!

You can book this premium property for even less if you have the Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Card.

Waste away in Waikiki

The Shell Vacations Club Waikiki Marina Resort at the Likai is in the heart of Hawaii's most famed vacation destination. Located just steps from Waikiki's pristine white sand, this all-suite property offers full kitchens and private verandas for every room.

Hawaii can be pricy if you're paying with cash, and this property reflects that. Room rates exceed $300 per night — depending on the time of year you decide to travel. Reward nights, however, cost just 30,000 points.

That means you can book a room here for as little as $217 per night when buying points at 0.72¢ each during this 80% bonus promotion — which is much better than paying the cash rate!

Gorgeous Greek getaway

Let me first preface things by saying that my mother is Greek. Great, we got that out of the way!

But objectively speaking, I can't think of anywhere else in the world that I love more than the Mediterranean nation. Fresh seafood, amazing beaches, and flawless weather year-round — if you haven't had the pleasure of visiting the birthplace of the Olympics and democracy, you're doing yourself a disservice.

Even though there are more than 230 inhabited islands, it's actually the capital, Athens, that goes under the radar.

Easily accessible with a plethora of things to do in the area, Athens gets a bad rap for being “just another big city.” But if you rent a car and take a little drive down the seaside, you can come across some spectacular places.

The Dolce by Wyndham Athens Riveria is exactly how it sounds — a gorgeous sea and mountain view are right outside your room on the veranda and contains all of the amenities. Rooms can reach upwards of $400 per night — but if you grab Wyndham points during this promotion, you can get a room for just 30,000 points. That comes out to as little as $217 per night.

Wyndham Buy Points History

We have compiled a list of former Wyndham promotions for buying Rewards points. As you can see, this value of 0.72¢ apiece (from the 80% bonus) is one of the better rates we've seen from Wyndham.

So, if you have any upcoming travel plans, this could be a very valuable promotion in the right situation — just make sure you're doing the math before pulling out your wallet:

Bottom Line

Wyndham's loyalty program doesn't always get the credit it deserves. With a large footprint and plenty of award sweet spots, you might be surprised at the value it can present.

We always stress that it's better to earn points organically. But if you find an appealing way to redeem Wyndham Rewards points for your travels, this promotion is one to take advantage of. There are going to be plenty of situations where you can receive outsized value when you can stock up on points for as little as 0.72¢ apiece — and probably more so now before the new four-tier award chart takes effect in September 2026.

Just make sure to do the math on the amount of points you decide to purchase. And keep in mind that this discount promotion comes to an end on July 3, 2026.

Are you planning to buy Wyndham Rewards points for as little as 0.72¢ apiece?
