How to Maximize Your Virgin Red Credit Card 75k-Point Bonus
While Virgin Red and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club aren't technically the same program, you can redeem Virgin Points through either program once you link your accounts. And there are several great ways to put your 75,000-point bonus to good use. Here are some of the top travel options:
Flights
If you choose to use your Virgin Points for flights, you can book Virgin Atlantic awards from the U.S. to the U.K. starting at 6,000 points in economy, 10,500 points in premium economy, or 29,500 points in Upper Class. These are incredible mileage rates, but just be mindful of the taxes and fees.
Alternatively, you can redeem Virgin Points for flights on several Virgin Atlantic partner airlines, such as Delta, Air France, KLM, ANA, and more. Through Virgin Atlantic, you can unlock some excellent deals, including short-haul Delta flights for as few as 7,500 points and ANA business and first class awards to Japan.

Hotels
Through Virgin Red, you can book stays at Virgin Hotels from 27,500 points per night. These rates are available at properties across the U.S. — including New York City, Dallas, and Nashville — as well as across the pond in London-Shoreditch and Edinburgh.
Prefer something even fancier? Also through Virgin Red, you can book stays at Virgin Limited Edition properties, such as Mont Rochelle in South Africa. Rates start at 80,000 points for a two-night stay.
Virgin Voyages
Another way to redeem Virgin Points is for sea-based vacations. You can try an adults-only Virgin Voyages cruise itinerary and book it entirely with points. The rate you'll pay depends on where you go, when you travel, and how long you'll be on one of Virgin Voyages' four vessels.
At the time of writing, though, you could snag a nine-night sailing (for two sailors) on Valiant Lady, departing from San Juan and stopping at multiple ports en route to New York City, for 205,000 points. That's under 23,000 Virgin Points per night, which is less than you'd pay for a stay at participating Virgin Hotels.
While the Virgin Red Credit Card‘s boarding bonus won't cover the entirety of this cruise, it'll still put a meaningful dent in the overall cost. And you can transfer in the remaining points you need from one of Virgin Red's or Flying Club's many transfer partners.
