Then, you're ready to earn bonus tier qualifying points or qualifying flights on eligible travels and your spending through November 30, 2024. Here's a look at each promotion.

Double Southwest tier qualifying points on flights
On flights paid wholly in dollars, you'll earn double tier qualifying points on your Southwest flights. This means you'll earn between 12 and 24 tier qualifying points per dollar spent on your flights instead of 6-12X per dollar spent. Note that Rapid Rewards bookings and Cash + Points reservations are ineligible to earn double TQPs.
Your bonus TQPs will post within 72 hours of your flight's completion. And this offer is valid on flights you book and fly by November 30, 2024.
Triple Southwest tier qualifying points on business travel
If you book flights through the following business channels and fly by November 30, 2024, you'll earn triple tier qualifying points:
- swabiz.com
- Global Distribution System (GDS)
- Southwest Partner Services (SPS)
And like the prior offer, only paid bookings (not award bookings or mixed-currency reservations) are eligible for triple TQPs.
Rapid Rewards bookings count as tier qualifying flights
If you're sitting on a lot of Rapid Rewards points, your award bookings will count as qualifying flights for a limited time. Every flight purchased with points and flown by November 30, 2024, counts as one tier qualifying flight. The bonus qualifying flights will post to your account within 10 days of flight completion.
As a reminder, you need to take 20 qualifying one-way flights to earn A-List or 40 flights for A-List Preferred — that's assuming you take this route to elite status instead of earning the requisite tier qualifying points.

Earn tier qualifying points on Southwest credit card purchases
If you've got a Southwest credit card, you'll earn 2,000 tier qualifying points per $5,000 spent. These bonuses come in addition to any spending-based TQP bonuses already attached to your card.
The promotion is valid for purchases made between September 1 and November 30, 2024, and bonus TQPs will post to your account within six weeks of the end of each month.
Earn Southwest tier qualifying points with partners
If you spend with Southwest's partners, you'll earn one tier qualifying point per base point you earn. The cap on this specific offer is 5,000 TQPs. The promotion is valid for purchases made by November 30, 2024.
Some of Southwest's partners include:
- Southwest Hotels
- Rapid Rewards Shopping
- Rapid Rewards Dining
- 1-800-Flowers
- Rewards for Opinions
