Looking for an affordable hotel stay in the Nordic countries? Strawberry Hotels has a promotion offering nights for as low as €80 (~$88) each via its Summer Pass program. Travelers can use their nights between June 19 and August 25, 2025. Here's how you can purchase your nights.
What Are Strawberry Hotels?
Formerly known as Nordic Choice Hotels, Strawberry Hotels has over 240 locations in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Lithuania. The company is a franchisee of Choice Hotels, but Privileges members can only use points at a limited number of properties.
Strawberry Hotels has its own loyalty program, allowing members to collect Spenn rewards on hotel stays. As such, while Choice Privileges members can use their points to book a small number of Strawberry Hotels, you can't earn Choice Privileges points at the hotels.
Summer Pass Promotion: Buy 10 Nights at Strawberry Hotels for €800
Strawberry Hotels has brought back its Summer Pass program for 2025. Travelers can purchase a 5-night Summer Pass for €500 (~$547) or a 10-night Summer Pass for €800 (~$875).
The pass is valid for double occupancy moderate or standard rooms at participating hotels between June 19 and August 25, 2025. You can use your nights at different hotels, the same hotel, or even up to three nights for three rooms on the same night.
If you are staying at a Strawberry Hotel that isn't participating in the Summer Pass program, you can still use one of your nights and get the value of the night credited to your stay (€100 or €80).
Any nights not used by August 25, 2025, are forfeited. As such, don't buy more nights than you're sure you can use. Nights are also not transferable to any other travelers. The promotion does not provide a deadline for Summer Pass purchases.

Our Take
Strawberry Hotels is the biggest hotel group in the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark). If you're planning a trip to these countries for at least five nights between June 19 and August 25, you should consider purchasing a Summer Pass; it could save you some serious cash.
Searching through some of the participating hotels, I found a few as low as €110 per night, but some were as high as €200 per night. As such, buying your nights in advance for as little as €80 per night can represent an excellent deal.
Unfortunately, the more expensive Strawberry Hotels with rooms as much as €300 per night that I found — such as the Clarion Hotel The Hub in Oslo, Norway — aren't participating in this Strawberry Hotels Summer Pass. However, you can still use one of your nights in a pinch to get a discount.
