Over the past few years, Bilt has established itself as one of the top loyalty programs, thanks to a whopping 23 transfer partners, lucrative Bilt Rent Day promotions, and point-earning partnerships for seemingly everything under the sun. Plus, we are awaiting details of the new Bilt credit card portfolio launching in just a few weeks.

Now, Bilt is making it easier to compare cash and award pricing. As first flagged by Upgraded Points, Bilt quietly added an award flight search feature to its travel portal. When you search for a flight, you'll now be able to view the revenue fare, the Bilt Rewards needed to book through the portal, and the rewards required to transfer to an airline partner.

As of now, this is available for British Airways and Iberia award flights, but it will hopefully roll out to more partners in 2026. Here's what to know so far.

Bilt Launches Award Flight Search Tool

Before you can view real-time award availability, you'll first need to link your airline loyalty program account to your Bilt Rewards account, if you haven't already.

As of now, you'll only be able to view award availability for British Airways and Iberia, so be sure those programs are linked. It's also only available for nonstop, one-way flights. However, expanded functionality should come soon. Luckily, you can already view award availability for all cabin classes (economy through first).

Start by performing a search in the Bilt travel portal as you usually would — enter your departure and destination airports, dates, and number of passengers. When you view your results, you'll see flights operated by a variety of carriers, along with how much it would cost to pay in cash or using Bilt Rewards at a flat rate of 1.25 cents per point.

Above the flight results, click “Award availability” to see what your flight would cost if you transferred to a partner. In the case of the screenshot below, you can book a nonstop flight from New York (EWR) to London (LHR) for 28,000 points, plus $83 in taxes and fees, if you transfer your Bilt Rewards to The British Airways Club at a 1:1 ratio.

In this specific redemption, it appears advantageous to book your flight using Bilt points through the travel portal — you'd need 10,000 more points to book directly with British Airways.

However, the inverse can be true in other examples. You might find it requires far fewer points to transfer to Iberia or British Airways than to book directly through the portal. Viewing results side by side makes evaluating your options a breeze.

Bottom Line

The new award flight search tool allows you to maximize your Bilt Rewards like never before. Now, you'll be able to see cash prices and the number of points required for both in-portal redemptions and transfers to travel partners side by side. For now, this is limited to just British Airways and Iberia. However, if (or when) it rolls out to all of Bilt's 23 transfer partners, it would provide unmatched simplicity when you're ready to book an award redemption.
