Bilt Rent Day Hilton Honors and Amtrak Transfer Bonus for October 2026
On October 1, Bilt members can take advantage of not one but two transfer bonuses.
Up to a 200% Hilton Honors bonus and status challenge
On October 1, you can take advantage of up to a 200% transfer bonus to Hilton Honors.
Bilt Points typically transfer to Hilton Honors at a 1:1 ratio. On October 1, Bilt members will receive up to a 175% transfer bonus, depending on their elite status — or up to 200% with Platinum status plus an upgrade.
Plus, with any transfer, you will get instant status through the end of the year and can take advantage of a status challenge to enjoy Hilton Honors elite status through March 31, 2028:
- 75% bonus and instant Hilton Honors™ Silver Status for Blue members
- Upgrade to Gold when you stay six nights in 90 days
- 100% bonus and instant Hilton Honors™ Silver Status for Silver members
- Upgrade to Gold when you stay six nights in 90 days
- 150% bonus and instant Hilton Honors™ Gold Status for Gold members
- Upgrade to Diamond when you stay 12 nights in 90 days
- 175% bonus and instant Hilton Honors™ Diamond Status for Platinum members

Up to a 125% Amtrak Guest Rewards transfer bonus
In addition to a Hilton Honors transfer bonus, you can take advantage of up to a 125% bonus to Bilt's newest partner: Amtrak Guest Rewards.
Bilt members can normally transfer points to Amtrak Guest Rewards at a 2:1 ratio. On October 1, Bilt members can transfer with up to a 100% bonus, or up to 125% with Platinum status plus an upgrade:
- Blue: 25% bonus
- Silver: 50% bonus
- Gold: 75% bonus
- Platinum: 100% bonus
You can transfer a maximum of 100,000 bonus points through this Rent Day promotion.
Increase your transfer bonuses using Bilt Cash
Want to unlock a better transfer ratio? You can use Bilt Cash to temporarily upgrade your status for both transfer bonuses.
If you want to upgrade your Bilt status to transfer to Hilton, it costs $200 in Bilt Cash to upgrade one tier. Blue can buy up to Silver, Silver can buy up to Gold, and Gold can buy up to Platinum.
If you're a Platinum member, you can use your Bilt Cash to upgrade to Platinum Plus for a 200% Hilton Honors transfer bonus. That's a 1:3 ratio, meaning you would get 3,000 Hilton Honors points for every 1,000 Bilt Points transferred. Plus, you'll get instant Diamond status, and you'll need to stay just 12 nights in 90 days to keep Diamond through March 31, 2028.
Meanwhile, if you want to upgrade your status for better transfers to Amtrak, you can spend $400 in Bilt Cash to upgrade one tier. If you're a Platinum member, you can use your Bilt Cash to unlock a 125% Amtrak Guest Rewards bonus.
Members cannot increase by more than one status tier. The elevated status tier does not apply after October 1, as the transfer bonus is available only on that day. If you try to make a transfer before the 1st, you will receive a warning advising you to wait a few days.
Note: Bilt Cash expires at the end of each calendar year. Up to $100 of Bilt Cash earned rolls over to the next year.
Is it worth transferring Bilt points to Hilton Honors or Amtrak Guest Rewards?
Hilton Honors and Amtrak might not be Bilt's most valuable transfer partners, but these transfer bonuses make them much more interesting.
To get an idea of how far the Hilton Honors transfer bonus could take you, consider that you can book a standard room at the Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Hawaii, for around 110,000 points per night.
Here's how many Bilt points you'd need to transfer for a one-night stay:
- Blue members: 63,000 points after the 75% bonus
- Silver members: 55,000 points after the 100% bonus
- Gold members: 44,000 points after the 150% bonus
- Platinum members: 40,000 points after the 175% bonus
- Platinum buy-up: 37,000 points after the 200% bonus
Redeeming as few as 37,000 Bilt Points for a night in a 5-star hotel that costs $1,200+ per night is phenomenal. Consider that AwardWallet users have redeemed Bilt Points at an average of 2.14¢ each. Meanwhile, users typically redeem Hilton Honors points for 0.62¢ apiece, so this transfer bonus makes it much more worthwhile.
In terms of the Amtrak bonus, you can travel from New York to Washington, D.C. from 750 points in coach. At the standard 2:1 transfer ratio, you'd need to transfer 1,500 Bilt points to book this ticket, which runs about $20 in cash — not terrible value, but it could be better. With an up to 125% transfer bonus, you can now transfer just 1,000 Bilt points (the minimum transfer amount) and have 375 points leftover — halfway to your next ticket.
Donate Bilt Points to Scholarship America
You can donate your Bilt points to Scholarship America to help students afford college. According to Bilt, six in 10 students can't afford college without financial help, and Scholarship America connects these students with scholarships.
Starting Friday, September 25, at 9:00 a.m. ET, you can donate any amount of Bilt points. Note that you cannot donate cash or Bilt Cash. Keep in mind that Bilt Point redemptions are not considered a charitable donation and are not tax-deductible.

Bilt Neighborhood Comedy Experiences
Bilt’s Neighborhood Comedy and Dining Experiences have become a Rent Day staple. This month, you can access exclusive comedy experiences at 17 venues across 12 cities:

Two types of comedy experiences are available this month. Comedy Club Experiences are standard comedy shows with two drinks included at most venues, and tickets are $30 to $40 per person or 2,000-2,500 Bilt Points. Bespoke Comedy Experiences are premium shows held at unique venues, complete with two drinks and light bites included. These tickets are $75 per person or 5,000 Bilt Points. Each venue has individual dates for its shows.

Booking closes at 11:00 a.m. ET on the day of each show or when sold out. You can purchase up to four tickets per member. All experiences are final sale. You can now use up to $50 in Bilt Cash toward one comedy experience, with the remaining cost paid in cash.

Bilt Neighborhood Dining Experiences
On October 1, in addition to great comedy experiences, Bilt offers an extensive list of exclusive dining experiences.
Dining experience venues offer a multi-course tasting menu of three to four courses, or an omakase. Tickets range from $40 to $75, depending on the menu, and can be redeemed with 2,500 to 5,000 Bilt Points. Premium cocktails and beverages can be added during checkout for $20 to $46 (1,500 to 3,000 Bilt Points) at most locations (add-ons are unavailable after booking). Members can also use up to $50 in Bilt Cash toward one dining experience, with the remainder paid in cash.
Members can book dining experiences at 45 restaurants across nine cities:

- A four-course New York City Wine & Food Festival dinner at Carne Mare with Chefs Andrew Carmellini and Hillary Sterling. This experience costs $350 or 23,500 Bilt Points.
Rent Day Dining takes place on Thursday, October 1. You can purchase up to four seats per member per booking. Booking opens at 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, September 26. Platinum and Gold members get early access at 11:50 a.m. ET.
Booking closes on Wednesday, September 30, at 5:00 p.m. ET for all dining experiences. Members can purchase all experiences this month with no limit, but all sales are final.
SoulCycle and Barry's Bootcamp Neighborhood Fitness Experiences
Once again, Bilt members can reserve one of 875 spots for SoulCycle classes at participating locations on Bilt Rent Day. Available bike quantities vary by location. Bilt also has a nationwide partnership with Barry's Bootcamp, offering 580 class slots at participating locations. Members can also receive exclusive add-ons with both fitness partners.
Booking opens on Saturday, September 26, at 12:00 p.m. ET, available in person or through the Bilt app on a first-come, first-served basis. Platinum and Gold members get early access starting at 11:50 a.m. Booking closes on Wednesday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Bilt Local Supply Pop-Up
Bilt recently moved its headquarters to the Meatpacking District in New York City. On Thursday, October 1, you can visit 837 Washington Street for a complimentary hot dog from Cookshop.
Although technically available between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., you'll want to go early. Complimentary items are available while supplies last and are only available to Bilt members.
Plus, the Bilt Locals Collection just dropped, so while you're getting your complimentary hot dog, you can shop. You can pay with Bilt points, Bilt Cash, cash, or any linked credit card. You must be a Bilt member to attend, and while RSVPs aren't required, they are encouraged. All purchases from the Bilt Locals Collection are final sale.
Bilt “Rent Free” Game Show: Win up to a Free Month of Rent
The “Rent Free” game show continues to feature one megastar after another. This month, John Legend is hosting. He will also play along, and the better he does, the more members win free rent.
On October 1, the top ten scorers will receive a month of rent, up to $2,500, and a signed John Legend x Bilt Custom Vinyl. An additional rent winner will be added for every correct answer John Legend gets. The next 100 best scorers will receive 1,000 Bilt Points, and the next 500 players will earn 100 Bilt Points.
Starting Friday, September 25, at noon ET, members can try to guess the top three answers to the posed questions.
