The long-awaited Capital One Landing at New York’s LaGuardia Airport is now just days from finally opening. And I think you’ll agree it was worth the more than three-year wait.
Ahead of the official opening on February 18, 2026, Capital One will remove the seemingly endless construction barricade that has long teased travelers passing through Terminal B. Behind it sits the issuer’s flagship location for its sit-down dining-focused airport lounge concept.
Even though LaGuardia is becoming something of a destination in its own right for airport lounges, I’m inclined to believe the new Capital One Landing will quickly rank among the airport’s most popular spots.
Here's why.

Capital One Landing LGA Location and Hours
Once revealed, you won’t miss the entrance to the new Capital One Landing. It’s located in LaGuardia’s Terminal B, right at the start of the skybridge to gates B11–B30.
It’s a short walk after taking the escalator up from security and passing through the terminal’s shopping area.

Terminal B is home to American Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest, United, and others. If you’re flying one of those airlines, accessing the Capital One Landing will be straightforward. But it won’t be as convenient if you’re flying Delta out of Terminal C or Spirit out of Terminal A, since LaGuardia’s terminals aren’t connected airside.

The Capital One Landing LGA will be open daily from 5 am to 10 pm.

Inside the Capital One Landing LGA
The Capital One Landing LGA is the issuer’s flagship dining-first space, and that’s clear from the moment you arrive and take in both wings of the lounge.

The new space measures about 12,500 square feet. To put that in perspective, that’s more than double the size of the Capital One Landing at Washington National Airport (DCA) and comparable to some Capital One Lounges, including those in New York-Kennedy (JFK) and Denver (DEN).

Capital One Landing LGA layout
Most, but not all, of that space is divided between two main wings.
The first wing, which you’ll enter after checking in at the reception desk, features the first of two decorative bars and plenty of seating. In total, the Capital One Landing LGA can accommodate upwards of 200 guests, and it seems roughly half can fit in this first side alone.

This wing is also where you’ll find a 30-foot mural depicting a group gathered around a table enjoying a meal. It's something Capital One says reflects the shared dining experience it’s trying to evoke in its Landing locations.

The second wing is what Capital One calls the “terrace.” Here, you’ll find another bar, additional seating, more greenery, and arguably better views of Terminal B’s apron.

Tall windows, trees, and wood finishes on the tables, chairs, and bar almost make you feel like you’re in a New York City park — and definitely not an airport.

Each wing feels like a destination in its own right, and you can’t go wrong sitting in either one. However, unless you ask, lounge attendants will assign where you sit.

After checking in, you’ll be shown to a table that best fits your traveling party. From there, you can order tapas and drinks via QR code. You can also walk up to the bar to order beverages, request snacks and small plates, or help yourself to items from the refreshment stations.

If you’ve never experienced a Capital One Landing before, LGA is a great place to try it. It’s not your typical lounge experience, but that’s part of the allure.
Food and Drink at the Capital One Landing LGA
One of the focal points of the Capital One Landing LGA experience, and the Landing concept as a whole, is its partnership with Chef José Andrés and the José Andrés Group.
The fruits of this partnership extend beyond the food and beverage program, but that’s where it shines brightest.

Capital One Landing lounges are built around a culinary-first concept, and the menu reflects that. Chef José Andrés charged Capital One with sourcing the right ingredients, such as Fermín jamón ibérico and olive oil sourced directly from Spain, and to equip the kitchen with professional-grade tools you’d expect to find in his restaurants.
That’s also why Capital One dedicated more than 2,000 square feet to the kitchen alone. And everything I tried that came out of that kitchen was very good.

At the Capital One Landing LGA, you can order tapas-style dishes via QR code at your table. The menu varies by time of day between breakfast and lunch or dinner and will rotate periodically, but staples include dishes like eggs Benedict, olive oil pancakes, chicken and béchamel croquetas, and carne asada with mojo verde sauce.

In addition to the made-to-order dishes, each bar features a glass display case with additional options. You’ll find items like Caesar salads, gazpacho, htipiti (which is a must-try), and desserts including burnt Basque cheesecake and flan.

It’s food galore, and the small plate format gives you an excuse to try a wide variety of dishes.

Capital One also invested heavily in the bar program. The menu includes everything from classic cocktails like New York Sours to Landing-branded gin and tonics, along with a selection of beer, wine, and bubbles.

But most importantly, you can always grab top-tier coffee fresh from the bar or have it delivered to your table.

Another unique element of the Capital One Landing experience (and at other Capital One Lounges) is its Daily Rituals service. These offerings are delivered via bar cart directly to guests, and the selections vary depending on the time of day.
At the Capital One Lounge LGA, examples include savory rituals like caviar cones and goat cheese-infused tomato cones, cocktail rituals featuring tableside martini service, and dessert rituals with caramel tarts and seasonal fruit.

And last but not least, Valencia orange and sea salt chocolate is available at the door for the road.

Final Thoughts
The Capital One Landing LGA isn’t your typical lounge. Really, it’s a comfortable, trendy, dining-first space that happens to be located inside an airport.
And when it comes to the dining element, Capital One left no stone unturned. Flawless execution of the vision — up to Chef José Andrés’ lofty standards — was non-negotiable. I walked away from the media event equally impressed with both the menu and the venue.
Sure, the lounge checks the other creature comfort boxes you’d expect. You’ll find high-speed Wi-Fi, a copious amount of power outlets, spacious restrooms, and thoughtfully integrated nooks and crannies to store luggage.
But you’re coming here for the food and the scenery. And I think you’ll find it hard to walk away hungry or underwhelmed.
