Lots of co-branded airline credit cards offer benefits that can make your onboard experience just a bit better. With some cards, that’s priority boarding, and with others it’s a discount on onboard purchases. One neat perk of Delta SkyMiles American Express cards, at least through the middle of this year, is a complimentary premium onboard snack.
Here’s what to know about this benefit and how to get it.
Delta Card Members: Get a Premium Complimentary Snack
Through June 30, 2026, Delta SkyMiles American Express cardholders can get a free premium snack on any flight over 900 miles within the United States or between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
The premium options include Dot's Pretzels, Nerds Gummy Clusters, or Pringles, and can be claimed through the Delta Sync platform. These are snacks you’d otherwise have to pay for, so simply having the card gets you one per Card Member (not per person on your reservation) on each eligible flight.
You don’t need to have your Delta credit card with you during the flight to use this benefit. Just make sure your SkyMiles Amex is linked to your account. Then, log in to Delta Sync on your seatback screen or mobile device to redeem your snack of choice, or simply show your card to the flight attendant during cabin service.

How Good Is This Delta Card Member Perk?
For frequent flyers, this is a nice way to switch things up from the standard Delta snacks like Biscoff cookies, Cheez-It crackers, and SunChips Garden Salsa.
And considering these premium snacks can cost around $8 at the airport, it’s not a bad deal.
If you’re still not convinced, the standard SunChips are just 1 oz, while the premium Nerds Gummy Clusters are 3 oz and Dot’s Pretzels are 2 oz. It’s not a huge difference, but it’s still a slightly better portion.

Final Thoughts
This promotion was originally set to end in January 2026 but has been extended through June 2026, so there’s a decent chance we could see it stick around a bit longer. It’s also worth noting this isn’t the first time Delta has rolled out a temporary perk like this, so even if this one ends, there’s a good chance something similar takes its place.
The next time you’re on a Delta flight over 900 miles, make sure you’re logged into your SkyMiles Amex account so you can pull up the offer during cabin service and show it to your flight attendant.
Just note that these snacks are available while supplies last, so there’s always a chance your flight runs out.
It’s a small perk, but it’s still a nice little extra for cardholders.
