When to status match to Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards
The length of time you can extend your status depends on when in the year you start your Alaska status match.
- Apply between January 1 and June 30, 2026: Extended status is valid through the end of 2026.
- Apply between July 1 and December 31, 2026: Extended status is valid through the end of 2027.
In other words, you can enjoy up to 18 months of Atmos Rewards elite status if you wait until July 1, 2026, to apply. However, if you need the benefits now, then it's not a bad time to apply.
