What if we told you that you could pay a single membership fee to get elite status in a handful of loyalty programs, access 1,600+ airport lounges, get 300k hard-to-get airline miles, and enjoy dozens more privileges? That's what's currently being offered through a lucrative ASmallWorld membership promotion.

It's a pricey endeavor, but through April 30, 2025, travelers can purchase an ASmallWorld Prestige membership at a 10% discount off the list price and get 50,000 bonus Lufthansa Miles & More miles.

If you've never heard of ASmallWorld, we've got you covered. Here's what you need to know about it — plus a dive into whether it's worth purchasing a Prestige membership to nab Miles & More miles at a discount.

What Is ASmallWorld?

Like FoundersCard, ASmallWorld memberships grant complimentary elite status to select loyalty programs, provide ancillary perks and privileges, and more. But what sets ASmallWorld apart for award travelers is the annual allotment of airline miles received after paying the annual fee.

ASmallWorld has three membership tiers, with Prestige taking its place as the Goldilocks option for most travelers. Here's a look at the benefits available to members:

  • 300,000 Miles & More miles (use to book Lufthansa, SWISS, and more).
  • Access 1,600+ airport lounges via Priority Pass (8 visits allowed).
  • GHA Discovery Titanium status.
  • Jumeirah One Gold status.
  • SIXT Platinum status.
  • Admission to 170+ nightlife venues via the World's Finest Clubs.
  • Dozens of other membership privileges.

Through April 30, 2025, you can purchase a year-long ASmallWorld Prestige membership for 4,950 euro (around $5,618) — a ~10% discount off the standard rate. To see the full terms and enroll, click on this link.

Who Should Subscribe to ASmallWorld Prestige?

With a price tag of this magnitude, we recommend purchasing a Prestige membership only if you can maximize the benefits and extract enough value from the airline miles to justify the cost. At the very least, you'll want to have a clear strategy before spending ~$5,600.

One of the main reasons ASmallWorld Prestige is worth a look is because of the airline miles. Lufthansa Miles & More miles, in particular, are hard to accrue.

Simply by purchasing a Prestige membership, you'll have access to 300,000 of them — and more each year you renew. A stash this size will unlock some aspirational redemptions, such as flying Lufthansa First Class. And if one thing has become clear in recent history, it's far easier to book those awards with Lufthansa miles than with partner currencies.

However, you'll want to do some pre-planning and price out the trips you want to book. It might be more cost-effective to earn Lufthansa miles through other avenues, such as purchasing a Miles & More bundle (sometimes available for as little as 1.4¢ per mile) or applying for the Miles & More® World Elite Mastercard®.

How To Maximize ASmallWorld Membership

The majority of ASmallWorld Prestige perks are courtesy of elite status benefits at brands such as SIXT, GHA Discovery, Jumeirah One, and more. To maximize these, you'll have to book travel frequently through the participating brands. Otherwise, these perks of an ASmallWorld membership are effectively worthless. However, the airline mileage bonus is easier to maximize.

Value of Lufthansa Miles & More miles

Based on recent redemptions, AwardWallet users have redeemed Miles & More miles for 3.2¢ each. At that average redemption rate, 300,000 Lufthansa miles are worth around $9,600. After factoring in the ASmallWorld Prestige enrollment discount, you're effectively purchasing these miles for 1.87¢ apiece.

But you'll want to redeem the miles soon after you get them, or at least before June 2025. That’s when the Lufthansa Group switches to dynamic pricing. You still have plenty of time to redeem in advance of these changes, but it’s worth planning a redemption before purchasing an ASmallWorld membership.

Top Miles & More redemption options

For some inspiration, you could use these miles to book Lufthansa First Class awards from 91,000 miles each way (First Flex) between the U.S. and Germany. You could also offset the surcharge burden by redeeming more miles for First Flex Plus awards.

But no matter how you spin it, a sum of miles will prevent you from paying otherwise scary-high cash fares for ultra-premium air travel. And you'll likely have several miles left over to fund future trips.

An alternative is to take advantage of monthly Miles & More Mileage Bargains, which are deeply discounted fares between the U.S. and Europe. While discounts are specific to the origin and destination (which fluctuate monthly), you can book round-trip transatlantic travel on airlines like Lufthansa, Austrian, SWISS, and more for just:

  • 30,000 miles round-trip in economy.
  • 40,000 miles round-trip in premium economy.
  • 55,000 miles round-trip in business class.

But just keep in mind that the Mileage Bargains program will sunset in June 2025, so you'll want to make your reservations soon after receiving your ASmallWorld miles.

Ultimately, there are some fantastic ways to redeem a big sum of Lufthansa Miles & More miles.

Maximize Your ASmallWorld Enrollment Purchase

According to ASmallWorld itself (and confirmed by Stripe), membership purchases code as 4722, which refers to “Travel Agencies and Tour Operators.” Thus, you have three options to maximize your purchase:

Welcome Bonus Earn 50,000 award miles if you spend $3,000 in purchases and pay the annual fee, both within the first 90 days.

Final Thoughts

Is ASmallWorld Prestige interesting? Yes. Who wouldn't want to bank hundreds of thousands of airline miles and enjoy elite perks at several brands? But is ASmallWorld also extremely expensive and hard to justify the cost for most travelers? Also yes.

If you can justify the cost and maximize the Miles & More miles before Lufthansa Group moves to dynamic pricing in June 2025, this offer might be worth jumping on before it disappears on April 30, 2025. You’ll get 300,000 Lufthansa Miles & More miles, plus a long list of perks, for around $5,600. It’s a steep price, but if you can squeeze maximum value from the generous mileage haul, it can easily end up being a great deal.
