Lauren is a freelance writer, part-time pharmacist, and freelance photographer/videographer. At 17 years old, she took her first trip out of the country, and two weeks exploring Italy changed her life. Every decision she’s made since then has been based on how to travel more or how to save enough money for more travel.
Despite knowing nothing about credit cards or points, she heard that people used points and miles for free travel, so she opened her first card at 18 years old to get started as early as possible. She’s spent the past decade learning everything about the points and miles world in order to fund her travels. She’s traveled to 36 countries over 6 continents and plans to hit 10 more new countries in 2025 – all using points and miles to get there! She even started a flight consultant business to help people find cheap flight deals using both cash or points.
When not traveling, planning travel, or writing about travel, Lauren is based in Atlanta, Georgia where she spends time with friends, hiking, camping, kickboxing, freediving, trying new recipes, or watching Survivor.
