Our Take
With a big travel window, and fares from only 48,000 miles roundtrip this is an exciting promotion where you can save 20% off the typical best prices you'd expect on these routes. The only problem with it are the somewhat extensive blackout dates. If you a fortunate enough to want to travel outside these dates then this sale can yield some great value, otherwise it is a case of a great headline, but disappointing fine print.

Fares are so cheap right now that using miles is not worth it. Just booked JFK – AMS for the end of September for $397.00 RT. Can’t beat that.
JetBlue also has flash sales. Just follow them on Twitter. The Delta flash sales are much better though.
I wish there would be an award sale to Greece. It’s so hard to find a decently priced award for Delta One to Athens.
Only ex-US?
With transatlantic flights as cheap as they are these days, I’m not sure this is worth it. Especially since this is for the cheaper, fall/winter travel season anyway.
Looks like a good value if you can avoid the black out dates.
nice option but wow lots of black-out dates. Then how much guarantee is there that seats are even available?
Shame, we see some good discounts but becoming a nightmare to find the right dates for us,
Ohh Flash sale!!!!!! I have been waiting for this!
Love these flash sales!
There is some availability in September ORD/ZRH, however the connection time was terrible.
