This month's airline shopping portal promotions are meager, likely in preparation for bigger Black Friday promotions later this year. So far, only United has a promotion with just one tier to earn 500 bonus miles – the same offer from October 2025. That basically means if you were planning to make a purchase through an airline shopping portal this month, stick to United for a few extra bonus miles.
United MileagePlus
United MileagePlus members can earn 500 bonus miles after spending $150 on eligible purchases in the MileagePlus Shopping portal through October 5, 2026.
Key terms and conditions
- This promotion ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on October 5, 2026.
- Qualifying purchases exclude returns, cancellations, shipping, taxes, gift cards, and certain ineligible products.
- Allow up to 10 weeks after the promotion ends for bonus points/miles to post.
- Purchases are cumulative; you don’t need to reach the spending threshold in one transaction or on a single day.
Win $7,500 with the Delta SkyMiles Shopping Sweepstakes
This is a unique promotion. The Delta SkyMiles Shopping portal offers a sweepstakes for a chance to win $5,000 in Delta gift cards and a $2,500 check. You will receive 150 entries for every $10 you spend on qualifying purchases, plus you can earn additional entries through other actions. The sweepstakes ends on October 2, 2026.
- Receive 500 entries when you opt in to email communications with SkyMiles Shopping. Members can only claim this once.
- Receive 150 entries every time you spend at least $10 in qualifying purchases with a participating merchant. Limited to 10 purchases per day, and each purchase must be with a different merchant. Members can earn up to 1,500 entries per day.
- Receive 500 entries when you download and install the Delta SkyMiles Shopping browser extension. Members can install the extension on up to three different eligible browser types for a total of 1,500 entries.
- Members can also mail in a handwritten request to receive 1,580 entries. Limit one request per envelope, one request per day. Send requests to “Delta SkyMiles Shopping 2026 Sweepstakes,” c/o Merkle Inc., P.O. Box 5012, Department 869453, Kalamazoo, MI 49003.5012. All entries must be handwritten, postmarked by October 2, and received by October 9. You can mail up to 25 requests during the promotion period.
In total, you can receive up to 39,501 entries by completing all qualifying activity.
