What Is Enterprise Status Match?
Enterprise's status match offer is simple. Fill out a digital form containing four fields, upload one picture to prove your elite status, and match to Enterprise Plus Silver, Gold, or Platinum. After Enterprise approves your application, you can enjoy elite status through February 28 of the second calendar year following approval.

The car rental company advertises that elites in more than 40 loyalty programs are eligible to match to Enterprise Plus. While it doesn't spell out the names of the programs word for word, Enterprise shares that hotel, airline, and car rental programs are all eligible. Thus, the chances are good that any of your elite statuses will afford you some tier of Enterprise Plus status.
You also won't find a table showing which elite tiers match to what level of Enterprise Plus status. You'll have to roll the dice and see what you get when you apply.
Matching to Enterprise Plus is free. To start the quick and easy process, visit the status match landing page and fill out the short form.

What Are the Levels of Status With Enterprise?
The Enterprise Plus elite status program offers four rewards tiers: Plus, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. You can earn Plus status by signing up for Enterprise's free-to-join loyalty program. Silver, Gold, and Platinum are achievable after a set amount of qualifying rentals — or by matching into the Enterprise elite program.

Plus status
New enrollees in the Enterprise Plus program are given Plus elite status. You can earn points towards free rentals at this tier, but that's about it.
Silver status
After six qualifying rentals, you can unlock Enterprise Silver Status. As a Silver member, you'll receive 10% bonus points per qualifying dollar spent and enjoy one free car upgrade per program year.
Gold Status
To earn Enterprise Plus Gold status, you must complete 12 qualifying rentals or accrue 40 total rental days in a calendar year. As a reward for becoming a Gold member, Enterprise will give you 15% bonus points per qualifying dollar spent and grant you two free car upgrades per program year.
Platinum status
Enterprise Plus' highest elite tier is Platinum. You become a Platinum member after completing 24 qualifying rentals or accruing 85 rental days in a calendar year. The rewards for top-tier status include 20% bonus points and four free car upgrades per program year.

How To Earn and Use Enterprise Points
Once you've been granted an Enterprise status match, you'll have access to a few new perks. One of the main benefits is bonus points. With frequent car rentals, you'll wind up with a healthy amount of Enterprise points you can redeem for free rental days.
Enterprise also lets you choose to earn airline miles or hotel points instead of its currency; alternatively, you can request other points after completing your rental. You can earn points towards five programs if you opt out of earning points towards free days:
- Air France–KLM Flying Blue
- Hilton Honors
- Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
- Caribbean Airlines Caribbean Miles
It's important to remember that you can earn one or the other, so choose wisely.
Best way to use your points
Enterprise points are good for one thing: free rental days. The car rental company's website suggests free days start at 400 points, and you can rent with no blackout dates. However, Enterprise prices cars dynamically; the number of points required fluctuates with the cash cost.
Your points are generally worth between 8 and 12 cents apiece. The value is inconsistent, but you'll be in good shape if you can redeem your points for about that much.

Moreover, pricy cars require more points. Thus, if you rent the large SUV, you'll redeem more points than if you rent the economy car. Sometimes, the extra space (and the cash savings) are worth it. Other times, you're better off snagging the vehicle with the cheapest free day rate and saving more points for later.

Using Enterprise points
If you've never redeemed Enterprise Plus points, the process is simple. You'll need to log in to your Enterprise Plus account and enter the particulars about your rental.
On the results page, select “Pay in Points.” Enterprise will show you the points required to cover a free rental day.

Our Take
Even if you rent a car just a few times annually, it's worth matching the highest elite status tier you hold to Enterprise Plus. You won't pay to match, and you'll earn bonus points any time you rent through Enterprise. On top of that, you'll snag a set amount of free car upgrades, improving your experience at the wheel when you decide to cash one in.
