For many years, Bank of America has been offering a program which lets you visit museums for free. The program has changed over the years but the general premise has remained the same. Museums on Us, lets you use your Bank of America debit or credit card to gain access to a large array of museums across the country, on the first weekend of every month.

Bank of America Museums on Us

Museums on Us Program

Museums on Us is probably one of the most straightforward programs around.

  1. Head over to one of the more than 225 cultural institutions, which are spread out in almost every state.
  2. Produce your eligible Bank of America card and ID, and you get one free ticket
  3. The offer is open on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month. However, the offer does exclude special exhibitions, ticketed shows, and fundraising events.
  4. If you visit with a guest who is not a Bank of America cardholder, they will have to pay to gain entrance. The only exception is for Bank of America Preferred Platinum Honors members, who can use their status to get free entry for their family.

Participating Museums

There are more than 225 participating cultural institutions, spread out across almost every state. Alternatively, if you just want to find the nearest museum or participating museums in your state, you can make a simple query on the site using your zip code or other location.
