Many credit cards come with different perks that you need to track throughout the year. Sometimes, it can be challenging to know how close you are to meeting a certain spending threshold. This is especially true if you have multiple credit cards and are juggling trying to meet minimum spending requirements for many new and existing cards. American Express has a few features that you may want to be aware of if you are trying to track some of these rewards and benefits.
View Spending Progress Towards Rewards and Benefits
Amex has a spending tracker under the “Rewards & Benefits” tab for certain co-branded American Express cards. You can track your progress towards a variety of different spending thresholds, depending on the card that you have.
Here is the dashboard for the Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business American Express Card. You can track how close you are to getting your annual $200 Delta Flight Credit or how much of your $150 Delta Stays credit you have used.

Track Your Posted and Pending Rewards
Another feature of American Express's website that you may or may not be aware of is the ability to check how many miles you will receive on your next statement. Again under the “Rewards & Benefits” tab, you can see your miles activity.
This screen shows your recent purchases and the number of miles you will earn for them. It can help you determine whether your purchases are being categorized as you expect and whether you need to dispute a purchase that is not being tracked in the category you think it should be.
You can also see your transactions that have not posted yet; they are marked with a status of “Pending.”

Bottom Line
While neither of these website features is amazingly groundbreaking, they can both be useful — especially if you're trying to track how close you are to meeting a spending threshold. These tracking links can also remind you if or when you've already used an annual benefit. It wouldn't be a good idea to use your annual Amex airline credit if you already used it earlier in the year!
If you have a co-branded American Express card, make sure to check out the Rewards & Benefits section to take advantage of these website features.
