In January 2026, Hilton announced another brand to its ever-growing portfolio: the Apartment Collection by Hilton. In partnership with Placemakr, these unique, furnished apartments are designed to provide travelers with a home away from home. And now, the first couple of properties are available to book.
The new brand helps Hilton meet the growing demand for apartment-style accommodations with larger and more varied room configurations than most hotels offer. At the same time, guests can enjoy hotel-style amenities and on-site support that typically aren't available with traditional vacation rentals.
Here's an overview of the new brand and locations.
What Is the Apartment Collection by Hilton?
Hilton has partnered with Placemakr for the Apartment Collection by Hilton — a new brand focused on elevated apartment-style stays. Hilton expects to add as many as 3,000 units ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments, all fully furnished for short- or long-term stays. Unlike traditional vacation rentals, Apartment Collection properties feature dedicated on-site staff to provide assistance to guests during their stay.
In addition to spacious, furnished apartments, Apartment Collection properties also have fitness centers, in-unit laundry, and heated rooftop pools and terraces, communal gathering and workspaces, and on-site dining and retail, though amenities vary by location.

Here's how Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton, describes the development:
“Apartment Collection by Hilton represents the next chapter in Hilton’s growth story and the ways we are evolving to meet growing guest demand for this dynamic segment of hospitality. With this new brand, we are continuing to pioneer the future of the hospitality industry, giving guests even more ways to choose Hilton for every stay, backed by our service and reliability.”

Hilton Honors Earnings and Elite Benefits at Apartment Collection
Apartment Collection properties participate in the Hilton Honors program, so members can earn and redeem Hilton Honors points on their stays. Guests earn 5 base points per dollar spent at Apartment Collection properties. That's half of the standard 10x earning rate at most Hilton properties.
These properties also offer elite-status benefits based on the member's Hilton Honors tier.
- Hilton Honors™ Silver Status: 20% bonus points, free Wi-Fi, and bottled water
- Hilton Honors™ Gold Status: 80% bonus points, free Wi-Fi, bottled water, and complimentary space available upgrades
- Hilton Honors™ Diamond Status: 100% bonus points, free Wi-Fi, bottled water, and complimentary space available upgrades
- Hilton Honors™ Diamond Reserve Status: 120% bonus points, guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, free Wi-Fi, bottled water, and complimentary space available upgrades. Confirmable upgrade rewards do not apply to reservations at the Apartment Collection by Hilton
Notably, Apartment Collection properties do not offer complimentary breakfast or a food-and-beverage credit as an elite benefit, nor is breakfast included for all guests.

If you want to secure Hilton Honors elite status before your next stay, getting a Hilton credit card is the easiest way:
- Get Hilton Honors™ Silver status via the Hilton Honors American Express Card
- Get Hilton Honors™ Gold status via the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card or The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card
Enrollment is required for select Amex benefits.

How to Book Hilton Apartment Collection
To book a Hilton Apartment Collection stay, head to Hilton's website or app and use the “Hotel brands” filter to find the participating properties.
At the time of publishing, only two locations are accepting reservations:
- Scout Living PCM – Placemakr in Atlanta, Georgia (accepting reservations after May 18, 2026)
- Placemakr Salt Lake City Downtown in Salt Lake City, Utah (accepting reservations after August 15, 2026)
You'll find award nights ranging from 47,000 Hilton Honors points in Atlanta, where cash rates are roughly $150, and 42,000 points per night in Salt Lake City, where rates are about $120. That works out to a redemption value well below the [HILTON_AVGPOINTVALUE] per point that AwardWallet users have received on average in recent Hilton Honors redemptions — likely because these stays are being priced as premium room rewards.

Upcoming Apartment Collection properties are planned for New York City, Washington, D.C., and more, though no formal announcements have been made about future openings.

Bottom Line
Apartment-style accommodations continue to grow in popularity, and Apartment Collection by Hilton gives travelers another way to book them while still earning and redeeming their Hilton Honors points. For travelers seeking more space than a traditional hotel room offers, the new brand provides another lodging option within Hilton's continually expanding portfolio of brands.
