Hilton’s global portfolio spans thousands of properties across 25 distinct brands, which means there’s a hotel for just about every type of traveler. If you’re points-conscious and like stretching your Hilton Honors points a little further so you can spend more time exploring, you’re in luck. On stays at these properties, AwardWallet users average 1.13¢ per point on redemptions, which is nearly double the typical redemption value of a Hilton Honors point.

Here are the best 10 Hilton Honors redemptions for the budget-savvy traveler.

Top 10 Best Hilton Redemptions for Budget-Friendly Stays

Below are ten budget-friendly Hilton properties that offered the best value for points redemptions, based on thousands of AwardWallet user bookings since November 2024. The list includes three DoubleTree properties, two Hilton Garden Inns, and a few other Hilton brands.

It’s worth noting that Hilton has devalued its program multiple times over the past year, so a great deal in November 2024 could be a much poorer deal by November 2025. Keep that in mind as you price out these properties today.

Final Thoughts

The best perk about budget-friendly point redemptions is that you'll often have points left over to put toward more trips.

You can make your points last even longer by using the Hilton Honors award calendar to find the cheapest award nights when your dates are flexible. And if you have Hilton elite status, consider redeeming points for five-night stays to utilize the Hilton fifth night free benefit.

With AwardWallet users staying at some budget-friendly Hilton hotels for a modest amount of points per night, Hilton almost encourages you to get out and see the world — and it's doable without breaking the bank.

Tip of The Day
Did you know that we display your elite status progress within the list of accounts? Each block in this progress bar represents an elite level. If you mouse over any of the blocks, it will show you the name of that elite level. Clicking it will open the account details on the 'Elite Levels' tab. This will show you exactly where you are regarding your elite status and what you need to do to reach the next level.

Nice list, but I can’t reproduce your results for the New Mexico or Tulsa properties. I search the award chart for the next 12 months for each of the properties, and I do not see any nights for less than 20K. Am I doing something wrong?

    • Ryan Smith says:

Hi Emmanuel, You probably aren’t doing anything wrong. Hilton employs dynamic pricing, which means prices can go up and down. These aren’t “our results,” to be clear. These are bookings that were tracked on our site by other users who have their accounts linked to AwardWallet. These weren’t bookings we made or “deals” we found, in case that’s what you’re thinking. These were bookings made by other people in the past year, tracked in our data (anonymously) and prices may have jumped since we published. They also may go down again soon. That’s one of the headaches with Hilton, unfortunately.

  • Emmanuel says:

    Same problem, please allow comments

  • james says:

I would post a response which I have tried twice but your ridiculous system tells me I’m spam !

    • JT Genter says:

Apologies for the issue. Our automated spam detector has become pretty sensitive due to the massive amount of spam we get. Feel free to try the comment again now that this one is approved.

  • Darren says:

More articles like this please!! Could you round out the top 10? And how do you find these? Just through experience or user submissions or…?

  • Ryan says:

A very nice list of options. The Hilton Garden Inn Bali Ngurah Rai Airport looks really nice.

  • beppoello81 says:

Redemptions in Turkey are excellent value too.

    • R says:

Istanbul in Turkey has quite a few 5000 point hotels so would be a great place for a status run switching between hotels each night.

  • R says:

My best redemption was the Hampton by Hilton in Krakow, Poland. At 5,000 points with a free breakfast it was hard to beat. It has just recently doubled in price to 10,000 points a night, but I still think it is good value, even at that.

    • Rosario says:

I agree, it was an exceptional value 5000 points for the Hampton in Krakow.

    • Bill from Maine says:

We stayed at the Krakow Airport Hilton Garden In the night before an early morning departure. All we had to do was walk across the street to the terminal. The rate was and still is 10K on a $133.00 room rate and I received my way points and bonus points for reserving on the Hilton app.

  • Jonmch says:

we look for low end hilton by airports to make next morning flight easier – Atlanta Garden Inn 20000 points worked well around Xmas

  • Paul says:

Good to make note of worthwhile redemptions.

  • Andrea says:

I’ve been using points to stay in hotels while doing a home remodel. This post offers some great ways to get decent deals when I need it most! Thanks

  • Jamesdinct says:

This is an awesome article and some great comments. I would like to see more like this catering to the lower teir of properties as I am a big bargain guy. I happen to have a lot of HH points and have just been hoarding them for years. It’s time to start using them before they lose even more value though.

  • Nuno says:

Great tips! I guess I should look into HH more closely…

  • The_Bouncer says:

I tend to find a lot of good value in the lower categories. Not just with Hilton, but other chains too.

  • Maryjane says:

The Hilton Garden in Hanoi sounds like an interesting redemption. I’ll definitely keep it in mind when I head to that part of the world. I find much better value from my other programs in so many locations that I find it hard to find a good redemption for my Hilton points.

  • Susan P says:

Often use my Hilton points when I need, more than want, a room somewhere. May not get the most value but every little bit helps. Hotel options in many locations make them useful.

  • MICHAELJ1 says:

Thank you for the heads up on where to look for the best (and highest) use of Hilton Points!

  • Christopher says:

Great tips! I’m always looking for more ways to spend my Hilton points

  • JC says:

    great list! thank you
