Now that the calendar has flipped to 2024, the Bilt Rewards elite status program looks a little different. Updates cover how Bilt status is earned, and it'll soon be even more valuable to collect Bilt points courtesy of Milestone Rewards (not to mention the ever-growing list of transfer partners).

Here's all you need to know about the changes to the Bilt Rewards program.

Bilt Rewards Elite Status Program

Since its inception, Bilt Rewards' elite status program has rewarded members for earning points on rent and non-rent transactions. The more points earned, the better your status. And the better your status, the more enjoyable the benefits are — like every other loyalty program.

Starting on January 1, 2024, the Bilt Rewards elite status tiers started to look slightly different. It takes more points to reach each level than it did in the past, but there's a way to fast-track your path to status. Here are the Bilt status tiers:

Bilt StatusEarn this many points annually to qualify for status:Or spend this much on non-rent purchases on The Bilt Mastercard® or another credit card linked to your Bilt wallet:
Silver50,000$10,000
Gold125,000$25,000
Platinum200,000$50,000

Here are the benefits made available to status holders at every level:

One of the unwritten perks of holding status is usually found on Bilt Rent Day — the first of every month. When Bilt runs bonuses, those with higher status levels routinely enjoy much greater bonuses, sometimes double what Blue-tier members receive.

One of the quirkiest aspects of Bilt's status program has long been the validity of your status, which functions like this:

  • Status earned between January 1 and June 30 expires on January 31 of the following year.
  • Status earned between July 1 and December 31 remains active for the rest of the year and the following year.

Thankfully, the quirks are no more in 2024. Alongside adjustments to the status-earning timeframes, we'll also see a few broader updates to the entire Bilt Rewards elite status program.

Final Thoughts

The Bilt Rewards elite status program looks a bit different as of this year. Updates to the status tiers were implemented, and it's only a matter of time until we see the launch of Milestone Rewards.

For the foreseeable future, the Bilt Rewards program will continue to be a force to be reckoned with. And earning elite status alongside racking up incredibly valuable transferable points is the icing on the cake.

Tip of The Day
Did you know that you have a personal referral link in your AwardWallet profile? If you invite people to AwardWallet using your referral link, you will receive an AwardWallet upgrade coupon for every five members you invite. Also, if these users upgrade to AwardWallet Plus, we will credit your AwardWallet account with AwardWallet Bonus points, which can be redeemed for points and miles in your program of choice. We spend roughly 50% of the revenue we receive from those referrals to purchase those miles for you. All of this can be tracked via the Invite to AwardWallet widget in the left navigation bar on your Accounts page.

How do you earn Bilt points with a linked credit card? Is it only on Bilt dining?

    • Ryan Smith says:

Hi Amy, you can earn with Bilt Dining, the Bilt Travel portal, earn points by linking your loyalty accounts, and even earn points by linking cards to your Bilt Wallet. Bilt also offers bonus points for referring friends, Lyft rides, and SoulCycle classes.
