Choice Hotels’ 2026 promotional calendar is off to a slow start when it comes to bonus points. But in place of a rewarding global promotion, Choice is offering a sizable discount on stays instead. Right now, members can save up to 23% on eligible stays booked by February 16 and completed by April 6, 2026.

Here’s everything you need to know to take advantage of the current Choice Privileges offers.

Save up to 23% on Eligible Stays at Choice Hotels

Choice Hotels launched a new promotion offering up to 23% off eligible stays at participating U.S. properties. Travelers can save 15% on two-night stays and 20% on stays of three or more consecutive nights.

Choice Privileges members may receive an additional 3% or more off. Eligible stays must be booked by February 16 and completed by April 6, 2026. The discount applies to the Best Available Rate.

If you're not already a Choice Privileges member, it's worth taking a minute to join. After all, it's free to do so.

Eligible stays are at the following brands in the U.S.:

  • Ascend Collection
  • Cambria
  • Clarion
  • Clarion Pointe
  • Comfort
  • Comfort Suites
  • Country Inn & Suites by Radisson
  • Park Inn by Radisson
  • Quality Inn
  • Radisson
  • Radisson Blu
  • Radisson RED
  • Sleep Inn
  • Everhome
  • Mainstay
  • Suburban

Suburban, MainStay, and Everhome brands have a maximum stay length of four nights. The main caveat with this promotion is that stays are non-cancelable, non-changeable, and non-refundable.

As such, make sure your plans are set in stone before booking, and consider having travel insurance in place for the unexpected.

General Choice Promotions Terms and Conditions

  • Eligible bookings: Only bookings made directly with Choice (through the app, website, or by phone) qualify
  • Earning preference: Your earnings preference must be set to Choice Privileges points to qualify for bonus points promotions.

  • Brands: Stays at WoodSpring Suites, Mainstay Suites, Everhome Suites, Suburban Studios, and Ascend Hotel Collection all-inclusive resorts, among others, are not eligible for promotions unless otherwise stated.
  • Countries: Some Choice promotions are not eligible in specific countries.

Tips for Booking Choice Hotel Stays

When booking a stay at a Choice Hotel, start searching for nights here. Make sure to pay for the stay with one of the best rewards cards for travel purchases. Right now, several credit cards offer up to 3X-4X points on hotel purchases:

If you're interested in earning even more Choice Privileges points on your stay, Wells Fargo issues two Choice co-branded credit cards in the U.S.

Final Thoughts

Choice Hotels is certainly lacking in its promotions department right now. The only offer right now is to save up to 23% off eligible stays in the U.S. Just make sure to book by February 16 and travel by April 6, 2026.

Even if you’re not sure when or where you’ll travel next, registering for promotions takes just a minute and could pay off later. A little prep now can unlock bonus points on your next Choice hotel stay.

You do not have to book with app, web,or 800 number is you are diamond or platinum. and you only have until 10-1-22 to redeem for 50 card at reduced 8000 point rate. and you can only redeem a couple every 2-3 days so you have to keep a redemtion pace if you collect a lot of bonuses

I’m staying at a Choice hotel right now. I’ll check and see if it qualifies for the extra points. Thanks for the information.

    Bill from Maine says:

Choice keeps the point earning program simple and the hotels are everywhere. Always good to keep a stash in your portfolio.

Promotions like these will at least make me consider Choice Hotels, usually they are not high on my list of places to stay.

Coinciding the hotel stays with the national park visits is such a fantastic idea.

Not bad if you’re trying to get more Choice points for a stay. I think that if I was going to use Choice points then I just might focus on Choice hotels than others. I don’t know if I would change any current hotel stays that I have but future ones I would.

The promo is very good but the period to take advantage of it is extremely reduced.

Sweet! Got their credit card and have been amassing their points. Very useful for visiting US national parks.

Nice getting 5k points if you were planning a stay

Undoubtedly Choice is one of the best hotel brands with these promotions

I have found on numerous occasions value using Choice points toward a points + cash purchase. 6,000 points can easily cut upwards of $100 off the price.

OK, registering was easy but being able to find the specific property on their website for booking was not. For some reason I was not able to book any properties in Portugal there

    Crystal Dawn Levering says:

This seems fun! I’ll try it if I can manage during the pandemic!

    Bill from Maine says:

Choice always makes it easy to earn a few extra points and the redemption rates for the most part are reasonable.

    Dexter Ohama says:

Now that we’re working our way out of the pandemic, many hotels are offering deals & promotions. I’ve been keeping up with many of them & this one is top of my list. My family will be traveling 2x & will be using this promotion. With a family of 4, we we easily be spending more than $300 a day. Jump on it when you can, it well worth it.

    Suyoung Choi says:

Very nice promotion. Too sad US and Canadian addresses only. I wonder if there is any promotion that is as good as this one and is valid for non-US or Canadian addresses.

    Maryjane says:

I just made a booking for work in a town where a choice hotel is the only option. So as long as I have another stay in the applicable time period, this is a nice bonus.

Registered. Thanks for the heads up. I’m on a Choice stay right now that will bet me a big stash of points and I got their cc earlier this year, so I’m going all in on their program.

Nordic Choice always offers unique promotions for that part of the world.

As per the article, there are some cheap and decent Choice hotels near the airport, certainly would not go out of my way to use.

Why only for those who live in the USA or Canada? They make me sad.

Not a lot of time. Offer valid only for stays completed by March 21.
Super restrictive offer considering the particular period.

I’m going to take advantage of this program. Looking forward to this year and beating Covid and all of the restrictions that are present. Hoping for a better year!

I won’t be able to earn some more points with this offer.
Anyway, considering the extremely reduced number of people traveling nowadays they could offer a greater bonus (40% or more).

They do have some nice hotels in some places I would like to go eventually. Though earning points with them right now is not a big priority. I had bought something through a shopping portal and it took a lot of asking when it would be credited after 3mons from purchase. I would probably do it again to get my points extended though. I don’t know if I would pick Choice over Hilton or Hyatt.

Why don’t companies just auto enroll people for promos? I bet even though they are hoping not everyone remembers to look for promos? Either way not everyone will take advantage and it would make people feel valued if they didn’t always have to look to see if they are registered for a promo.

Great offer but this COVID situation sudden lockdowns are more common everyday. So you may end up losing time and money.

I’m tempted but just not sure when travel restrictions will ease up to really take advantage of this.

Nice way to extend points during this covid time, without buying them for cash.

This is a nice idea. However, it’s so hard to travel with all the restrictions going on. Some municipalities want to close up restaurants again and force take out only again. Some areas don’t want you to travel into their districts. They are making hard to plan for some travel enjoyment.

    Bill from Maine says:

Choice is one of the handiest point currencies to hold. They are everywhere and most of the properties have improved greatly over the last few years. Like you mentioned, I would like to see Choice liven things up a bit rather than running the same tired bonus program every quarter.

It’s funny how they mention the paid rate needs to be $40 or higher.
I wonder if there are any Choice properties lower than $40 per night to begin with..

I’m not sure yet if I’m going to take advantage of this promotion but I have signed up. I have an Amex offer that would be stackable (For Comfort Inns) and definitely book through a cashback portal for the most benefit.

This looks like a great deal! I’m jst a bit scared of traveling these days. once all this passes, im hoping to use this deal

Its a great deal. Would love to do it once the pandemic its over! ?.

    Paula Garabaya says:

I like that we are starting to see promotions that are actually good.
Maybe we will just do two long weekends now.

I think that one of the important points, besides being an interesting promotion from the economic point of view, is that the establishments guarantee the hygiene necessary to prevent infections.

The way I see it, is that you get exposed to the virus when you out and about when traveling rather than hanging out in your own hotel room.

They’re learning more and more about this virus everyday, thankfully. Currently, there is thought that poor ventilation might be a problem, as in recirculating the same air without proper filtration or the inclusion of outside air. If that turns out to be true, hotels will need to assure visitors that they have the proper precautions in place for hanging out in the room.

This seems like such a great deal!! I’m so wary of traveling these days though. Hopefully I will be able to start back up very soon!!

Perfect for long road trips with multiple overnight stays along the way. With a little bit of planning, it’s not hard to earn a decent amount of points without spending a lot, especially if you can double dip with the right credit card.

I like that we are starting to see promotions that are actually good.

I would love if Hyatt would do something like this!

This is a great deal. We participated last year on our cross-country road trip. And I’m sure we’ll take advantage of this promotion again this summer! Thanks for the heads up!

This could be very lucrative for me as I need to go to some small Pacific Northwest towns where this is one of the only chains. I may as well take advantage of it.

While rates are lower now and this seems like a good promo, I dont think people are ready to start travelling and staying in hotels already.
