The Bank of America Customized Cash Card is worth your digital swipes — assuming you pick “online shopping” as your chosen cash-back category. The card also earns 2% back at grocery stores and wholesale clubs, which brings us to an important caveat. You'll earn 6% and 2% cash back on the first $2,500 in combined spending from the 6% and 2% categories each quarter, then 1%. After the 3% first-year bonus offer ends, you will earn 3% and 2% cash back on these purchases up to the quarterly maximum.
It's worth remembering this caveat if you plan to spend more than $2,500 on online purchases within a quarter. And it's also worth pointing out that you could earn up to 10.5% back in this category if you qualify for Bank of America Preferred Rewards.

Purchase protection on the Amex Gold will reimburse you for theft, loss, or accidental damage to eligible items within 90 days of purchase. To become eligible, all you have to do is pay for the items with your card.
Amex will reimburse cardholders for up to $10,000 per covered purchase and up to $50,000 annually — though coverage limits apply, and you won't be reimbursed for more than the amount charged to your card. If you aren't physically located in one of these states, you'll be unable to apply for TD Bank credit cards.
