In a somewhat unique partnership, you can status match your Marriott Bonvoy elite status to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer — or match in the opposite direction if you have KrisFlyer status. How Marriott Elite Status Matches to Singapore KrisFlyer Status
Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite and higher members get either an elite status match or status challenge to Singapore KrisFlyer, depending on your current Marriott and Singapore elite status levels.

If you have Marriott Gold Elite status
Marriott Gold Elites can earn KrisFlyer Silver by taking two Singapore Airlines flights within six months.
That means those with the following cards can score Singapore Airlines Silver Elite status with just two flights in the next six months. Enrollment is required for select Amex benefits.

- The Business Platinum Card® from American Express
- Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® Card
- Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ Card
Unfortunately, these travelers have no path to KrisFlyer Gold or higher elite status. So, you may want to wait to link your accounts until you reach a higher tier in the Marriott Bonvoy program.
If you have Marriott Platinum Elite status or higher
Marriott Platinum Elite status or higher elites will get Singapore KrisFlyer Silver Elite status for 12 months upon linking your Marriott and Singapore accounts. Plus, you gain the ability to earn Singapore KrisFlyer Gold elite status by linking your Marriott and Singapore accounts and taking four Singapore Airlines flights within six months.
This is great news for Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card cardholders who enjoy complimentary Platinum Elite status.
Perhaps most importantly, KrisFlyer Gold elite status gets you Star Alliance Gold status. Star Gold status scores you priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling, plus extra checked baggage allowance and even lounge access anytime you fly any Star Alliance member — including United and Air Canada.

How to Match Your Marriott Elite Status to Singapore KrisFlyer
To start your status match, head to the landing page on Marriott's website. Fill out your Marriott Bonvoy number or email and then include your password.
If you get an error message saying your user name or password is wrong, but you're certain it's right, the issue might be your location. I'm outside the U.S. right now and received an error message. Turning on my VPN and setting it to a U.S. location did the trick.
After entering your information, the site will detect your Marriott status and ask for your KrisFlyer number. As long as the names match, the process is quick and simple.
The full terms are available on Marriott's website, including descriptions of the qualifying flights to jump to KrisFlyer Elite Gold status. Other than G fare codes (group bookings), all other fare types are eligible for the flights required within six months.
How to Match Your Singapore KrisFlyer Elite Status to Marriott Bonvoy
Travelers with Singapore KrisFlyer elite status can match their KrisFlyer or PPS Club status to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members can enjoy a match to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status. It will remain valid for 12 months from the date of registration. If you want to upgrade to Platinum Elite, you can stay 10 qualifying nights within six months from the date of registration.
Although KrisFlyer Elite Silver members can't status match into Bonvoy Elite, you can complete a challenge. Stay 3 qualifying nights within six months from linking your accounts to accelerate to Marriott Silver Elite.
If you're interested, head to KrisFlyer.com/Marriott and log into your KrisFlyer account. From there, scroll down to the “Add Partner” section and choose “Non-Airline Partner.” Choose Marriott Bonvoy from the list and include your Marriott Bonvoy membership number.
