Last week, United Airlines teased that this mystery award sale was coming. And now, it's here, kicking off with discount economy awards to London Heathrow (LHR), bookable for 24 hours only.
But as DansDeals reports, this mystery sale is no longer a mystery. The carrier has shown its hand and revealed the round-trip routes bookable for 50,000 miles throughout the rest of the week — all in economy class. Here's what you can expect each day:
- January 8, 2024: London (LHR)
- January 9, 2024: Paris (CDG)
- January 10, 2024: Amsterdam (AMS)
- January 11, 2024: Frankfurt (FRA)
- January 12, 2024: Brussels (BRU)
Normally, you can book round-trip awards to Europe on United Airlines for 60,000 to 80,000 MileagePlus miles. As such, this deal doesn't exactly border on “too good to refuse.” However, any discount is better than no discount — especially if you're just trying to get to Europe on points and miles without spending more points than you have to.
