Choice Reveals 37 College Football VIP Packages — Here’s What You Can Bid On Soon

Choice Privileges members will have dozens of new ways to redeem points this fall. Choice Experiences has unveiled its 2026 college football lineup, featuring VIP packages for 37 games from September through November.

However, don’t rush to place a bid just yet. Most of these auctions — including the entire college football lineup — are currently labeled “Opening Soon.” Choice has published the opening bids and bidding deadlines, giving members time to identify the experiences they want and build their points balances before bidding begins.

Opening bids range from 40,000 to 150,000 Choice Privileges points. Packages generally include tickets, hospitality access, and sideline passes, while select premium experiences add hotel stays and travel gift cards.

Here’s what you need to know about the newly announced lineup — plus the handful of racing experiences currently open for bidding.

Current Choice Privileges Experiences

At the time of writing, Choice Privileges lists 47 experiences (8 racing and 39 football).

However, bidding has not opened for most of these experiences. Each college football listing currently displays “Opening Soon,” and Choice has not published a specific opening date. Members can add an experience to their watchlist to monitor when bidding begins.

Racing events

While the college football experiences remain in the “Opening Soon” stage, four racing-related listings are currently accepting bids.

VIP race-day packages generally include two passes, a tour of the Trackhouse Racing team transporter and pit road, a meet-and-greet with drivers and the pit crew, and pre-race hospitality with food and drinks.

Members interested in one of the future football or racing packages can select “watch” on the listing to keep track of its status.

VIP college football packages

Most packages cover two travelers and include some combination of:

• Game tickets
• Pre-game hospitality access
• Pre-game or in-game sideline passes
• A parking pass
• A restaurant or team-store gift card

Some higher-end packages offer substantially more. Select experiences with 150,000-point opening bids include $1,500 in travel gift cards, a two-night hotel stay, premium game tickets, hospitality and sideline access, a parking pass, and additional gift cards.

At the other end of the range, packages opening at 40,000 points still include game tickets and VIP extras such as hospitality or sideline access. Thanks to the 1:2 transfer ratios available from Citi ThankYou Rewards and Wells Fargo Rewards, 40,000 Choice points could require just 20,000 transferable points.

Choice Privileges Experiences Auction Overview

Choice Privileges Experiences auctions work as follows:

• To bid, you must log into your Choice Privileges account.
• You must have the required points in your account to bid.
• Bidding takes place in 100-point increments.
• You must maintain a points balance equal to or greater than your bid until either of the following:
  • The auction is over, and you are the winning bidder.
  • Another member places a successful higher bid.
• Members will not be notified when they are outbid and must monitor the bidding themselves.
• All bids must be entered manually by the bidder.
• If you are the first to bid, you can make an introductory bid subject to the minimum bidding requirements.

Boosting Your Choice Privileges Points Balance

If you're interested in bidding for an event but find yourself a few points short, you have a few options available. Choice Privileges is a transfer partner with four major flexible points currencies. Of these, the best options are transferring Citi ThankYou points or Wells Fargo Rewards, thanks to the excellent 1:2 transfer ratio.

One thing to keep in mind if you are a Choice Privileges fan is that Wells Fargo offers two Choice Privileges co-brand credit cards. These allow you to earn points for everyday spending. Also, Wells Fargo cardholders can transfer their points to Choice Privileges.

Our Take

This isn’t a bid-now opportunity for college football fans — at least not yet. But Choice has provided enough advance notice for members to review the schedule, compare packages, and prepare their points balances before the auctions open.

Some packages could offer compelling value, particularly those that combine premium tickets with hotel stays, travel gift cards, and access that typically isn’t available for purchase. Still, auction prices can climb quickly once bidding begins, and experiences without a cash price are inherently difficult to value.

Identify what the experience is worth to you before placing a bid, then avoid getting caught up in trying to win at any cost. In the meantime, use the watch feature to monitor the packages that interest you.
