Earlier this year, Frontier moved to a new precious-metal-based elite status tier system. Now, Frontier Miles members can get the new Frontier Elite Silver status through December 2025 after completing three round-trip flights by August 31, 2024. Here are the details of this offer and whether you should take advantage of it.
What Are the Perks of Frontier Elite Silver Status?
In January 2024, Frontier implemented a new elite status tier system for Frontier Miles members. The new system introduced an Elite Silver status tier, which had no equivalent in the earlier system.
Frontier's new Elite Silver status tier comes with the following benefits:
- No cancellation or change fees at least 7 days before departure for the member and a companion.
- Priority zone 2 boarding for the member and a companion.
- Complimentary standard seating at booking for the member (not a companion).
- Preferred seat at check-in for the member, subject to availability.
- Access to family pooling.
- Priority customer care.
Elite Silver status requires 10,000 qualifying points, and members with this status earn 12x miles and qualifying points per dollar spent.

How to Get Elite Silver Status After Three Round-Trip Flights
Frontier has a new promotion for Frontier Miles members to get Elite Silver status with only three round-trip flights.
Members must register for this offer, and then book and complete three round-trip flights by August 31, 2024. Just to reiterate, members must complete all six flights (three round trips) by August 31, 2024. After completing all qualifying flights, the member will receive Frontier Elite Silver status through December 31, 2025.

Our Take
Achieving Frontier Elite Silver status normally requires earning 10,000 qualifying points. Basic members can achieve Elite Silver after spending about $1,000. As such, if your three round-trip flights with Frontier cost more than $1,000, it's not worth rushing for this offer. And obviously, not everyone has the schedule flexibility to complete three round-trip flights with Frontier this month.
However, if you can book and complete your travel by August 31, 2024, and your tickets total less than $1,000, then definitely register for this offer to fast-track your way to Elite Silver status. And if you're successful, your status is good through December 2025.
Of course, you could also get the FRONTIER Airlines World Mastercard® and jump right to Elite Gold status for 90 days after qualifying purchases. Alternatively, you can buy Frontier Elite Gold status for $499 and enjoy your perks through the rest of 2024.
