Earn 100,000 Bonus Miles and 3,000 PQP With the United Quest Card

There’s a lot to like about the United Quest Card if you’re looking to earn United MileagePlus miles and make progress toward the next tier of Premier elite status. The new welcome offer helps with both.

If you're a new applicant for the card, you can earn 100,000 bonus miles and 3,000 Premier qualifying points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.

To put this offer into context, we haven’t seen a 100,000-mile bonus since 2021 — and that one didn’t include any PQP. More recently, offers have hovered between 60,000 and 90,000 miles, making this one well worth considering if you're eligible.

What is the United Quest Card welcome bonus worth?

The United Quest Card‘s welcome bonus has two components: bonus MileagePlus miles and bonus Premier Qualifying Points (PQP). Here's an easy way to think about what each is worth:

  • 100,000 MileagePlus miles: On average, AwardWallet users redeem United miles for 1.94¢ each. Based on that, the bonus miles from this offer are worth roughly $1,940 — and potentially more if you redeem them for premium cabin flights on United or its partners.
  • 3,000 Premier Qualifying Points: PQP are one of United’s metrics for earning elite status. A 3,000-PQP boost can be valuable if you’re aiming for status this year — either as a jumpstart toward Premier Silver or as a push toward the next elite tier.

Ultimately, the bonus miles can offer solid value for almost any new applicant. The PQP, meanwhile, will only be valuable to those actively working toward United Premier status this year. If you're not, then this part of the offer might not carry much (if any) value at all.

Bottom Line

Welcome bonus aside, the United Quest Card is one of the best United credit cards you can apply for if you're loyal to the airline — or even if you fly it just a few times a year. With the right strategy, the card can easily pay for itself by taking full advantage of its statement credits.

Once you add in the welcome bonus, it becomes a must-get, at least for the first year before you reevaluate whether it deserves a long-term spot in your wallet. And if you're thinking about applying, now is the perfect time as there's a best-ever offer available.
