The brand new Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ (Rates & Fees) comes with an astonishing $795 annual fee. In exchange, cardholders unlock access to a suite of statement credits, many of which are reminiscent of credits offered by other premium business cards. Among these benefits is a $100 credit for Giftcards.com, which you can use to get reimbursed when you buy gift cards from certain brands.

Here's everything to know about the new $100 curated gift card credit available to Sapphire Reserve Business cardholders.

What Is the Sapphire Reserve Business Gift Card Credit?

As a cardholder of the Sapphire Reserve Business, you can earn up to $100 per year in statement credits when you purchase gift cards from giftcards.com/reservebusiness.

This is a biannual credit, which means you'll receive a $50 statement credit to use from January to June, and another $50 from July to December each year. These credits don't roll over, so if you don't redeem them while you can, you'll forfeit the benefit.

It's also worth noting that enrollment is not required for this benefit.

Which Brands Are Eligible for the Gift Card Credit?

Whether you're buying gift cards for clients, your employees, or yourself, you can choose gift cards from 20 different merchants. Most merchants have cards ranging from $10 to $500. You can choose between a digital or a physical gift card.

Simply purchase one or multiple gift cards from one of these brands through the dedicated giftcards.com/reservebusiness site and you'll get a credit back on your statement, up to $100 a year. It can take between 6-8 weeks for the curated gift card credit to appear on your statement.

Dining and entertainment

Sapphire Reserve Business cardholders have 10 gift card options within dining and entertainment:

  • Bloomin' Brands Restaurant Group (Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Fleming's, and Bonefish Grill)
  • Brinker-Chili's (Chili's, On the Border Mexican Grill, Maggiano's)
  • Chipotle
  • Darden Restaurants (Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Yard House, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52)
  • Dave & Buster's
  • DoorDash
  • Fandango Gift Card
  • Landry's Restaurants (a long list of brands, including Morton's Steakhouse, Rainforest Cafe, and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.)
  • Panera Bread
  • Topgolf

Shopping and wellness

You also have 10 options across shopping and wellness brands, including:

  • Barnes & Noble
  • Bloomingdale's
  • Lululemon
  • Macy's
  • Nordstrom
  • Sephora
  • Spafinder
  • TJX Multi-Brand (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, Sierra, Home Sense)
  • Ulta Beauty
  • Wayfair

Final Thoughts

Of all the Sapphire Reserve Business statement credits, this one might be the easiest to use. There's a solid chance that you shop or dine at one of these merchants (or know someone who does).

And although you can't redeem for a flexible Visa gift card, you can likely find a way to grab dinner through DoorDash, a book from Barnes & Noble, workout gear from Lululemon, or a new coffee table from Wayfair. Plus, several of the gift cards options allow you to redeem at several brands under the same umbrella so the flexibility is even greater. While I might not be the biggest fan of coupon book-style credits, this one is a win in my book.
