Omni Hotels Select Guest Credits have a fixed expiration policy, expiring 36 months after they are issued. Per the Omni Hotels Select Guest FAQ page:
“Omni Credits will be valid for 36 months after their date of issue.”
There is no way to extend the validity of your Omni Credits. In addition, once expired, there is no way to reinstate your expired Hotels Select Guest Credits.

Earning Omni Hotels Select Guest Credits
The fact that Omni Hotels Select Guest Credits expire after a fixed amount of time means you can focus on earning and redeeming your Omni Credits.
When it comes to earning, you can earn Hotels Select Guest Credits in several complicated ways:
- Select Guest Members and Insiders earn 5 Omni Credits for each qualifying night.
- Select Champions and Icons earn 10 Omni Credits for each qualifying night.
Members also earn Omni Hotels Select Guest Credits for purchases beyond the room rate, such as food and beverages. Points are earned as follows:
- Select Guest Members, Insiders, and Champions earn 1 Omni Credit for every $100 spent.
- Select Guest Icons earn 2 Omni Credits for every $100 spent.
