Another day, another chance for World Cup 2026 tickets. If you weren't able to score tickets during the AAdvantage World Cup draw or by applying for a Bank of America credit card, you have another opportunity to attend one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
Starting February 10, 2026, select Chase credit card holders will have an exclusive opportunity to buy up to four FIFA World Cup 26 tickets per match. This opportunity is special — no need to enter a lottery for a chance to buy tickets.
Here's what you need to know.
Chase Sapphire Cardholders Can Soon Buy World Cup Tickets
The 2026 World Cup will kick off in Mexico City on June 11 and will end in New York on July 19. There will be matches in 16 different cities throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, making it a geographically widespread event. If you live near one of the host cities, or you are a big soccer (or, as much of the rest of the world calls it: football) fan, odds are you'll want to see the action up close.
Tickets have been astronomically expensive and virtually impossible to secure. However, cardholders of Chase Sapphire-branded cards will soon have the opportunity to buy World Cup tickets. Starting February 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, cardmembers can buy up to four tickets per match from available match inventory across all U.S. host cities.
That means you won't be able to buy tickets to the opening match or select matches in the group stage, round of 32, or round of 16. However, starting with the quarter-finals, all matches will be held in the U.S.
These tickets are only available to select Chase cardholders:

Keep in mind that tickets are limited, so you'll want to log on as soon as ticket sales open on February 10. The sale will technically last until February 24, but since supplies are limited and demand is high, it's easy to assume that tickets will sell out quickly.

How to purchase World Cup tickets with your Sapphire card
On February 10, you'll visit the dedicated Chase Sapphire World Cup page and click “Access Tickets.” You will then be prompted to verify your eligibility by entering your Sapphire card number. Once you are verified, you'll receive a link that will redirect you to FIFA's official website. Then, you can log into your FIFA account to view available tickets and complete your purchase.
All purchases will be through the official FIFA ticketing system. You might be able to verify your eligibility ahead of the sale, so keep an eye on Chase's website and social channels for more information.
You can verify your card number to view and purchase tickets only two times. So, only go through this process when you're ready to buy tickets. Don't verify your eligibility just to peruse and buy tickets later. You can make one purchase per verification, for a total of two purchases. In other words, you can't simply access the website at any time and make as many purchases as you'd like. You're also limited on the number of tickets you can buy — up to four tickets per match, and up to 40 tickets total for the tournament.
Since tickets are purchased directly through FIFA, you can't use your Chase Ultimate Rewards points. However, even if you could, we'd likely advise against it. American Airlines charged over 1,000,000 miles for two tickets to the final during its draw, which is not a good use of your miles.
Bottom Line
If you want to attend the 2026 World Cup, you have yet another opportunity to do so. Those with a Chase Sapphire credit card will receive exclusive access to World Cup tickets on February 10, 2026. Or, if you aren't already a cardholder, World Cup tickets are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to reasons to apply.
